I'm really starting to feel uneasy about Clay. I have zero grasp of what he might do. I don't see him going on a warpath or anything against the club, but deep down he must be stinging from having to help the club that kicked him out (even though he deserved it).

Is that just me or music+action scenes is a bad mix? Like in 5th season some action scenes and chases were just random and out of place. This cop chase wasn't out of place obviosly, but with this afwul music it was terrible.
Really fun episode. The aside with the cops was the most entertaining the show has been in quite some time. Also liked Juice developing a mean streak and Bobby coming back.

The last two episodes have been the best the show has been in a while. Glad to see Bobby back and not reviving the Nomad's. Sucks Kev won't be joining, seems like a pointless addition to the cast to just have a one off conversation with Bobby and then just make an appearance after that. Seeing how he is on Shameless I thought he would have been perfect comic relief for the show.

Just caught up from watching season 5 straight through and catching up to current. REALLY glad this last episode was much lighter. Show was getting too fucked up and dark.

I thought everything with Venus was really well done. You could tell how much Venus' mother's words cut into Jax. As soon as she started talking about kids and fathers I knew he'd shoot her.
There are so many dynamics going on right now. Jax is caught in the middle of everything, and no matter what he stands to lose the most.

-table scene seemed badly acted and written (voting in new members)
-venus just picking up a gun and shooting, not to mention the chase didn't attract any attention
-jax just kills the mother like it's nothing
-montages!
-i lost my baby! yet none of the doctors said anything about the fact she obviously didn't

Tara truly brought the thunder....holy shit. Didn't expect for a second the pregnancy was faked and that's why she was taking her own blood earlier. Goddamn, that was some Batman level of prep time...
Nice to have some more depth for Venus, That whole scene where her mum is berating her was difficult to watch...
The cell scene with Nero was...interesting. What's the deal with all the anal sex all of a sudden? Sutter getting his prostate tickled by Sagal?
Oh and double montage. Making up for there not being one in last weeks episode I expect. Was the end montage a new record for how long a montage has lasted for? Around 8 minutes long by my count...

Goggins should at the very least get nominated for best guest actor in a drama series.

Venus' mother deserved to unexpectedly get her brains blown out. She was an evil woman. I think her death is a foreshadowing of what Jax could do to the mother of his children after he finds out what she's really planning.
