I think Jax will go the way his father did. Suicide by motorbike. Takes him out of this picture, since he's gotta die anyway. This prevents any kind of blowback...queue Abel all grown up joining the SOA 20 years later. Rinse and repeat with a musical outro

What do you think Jax's final quest is going to be? Someone is going to make him do something before another something can happen, I just know it.

Did the same with Dexter, still havent watched the finale of that shit show.

Finally it's the end. I am guessing Jax will die the way his dad did, falling off the bike. Maybe something to do with his leg or Chiklis. Expecting Sutter to disappoint me, hoping for a suprise.

One ten minute one at the end, one at the beginning, until the commerical break. Maybe one more sub 10 minute one somewhere in the middle when a revelation is made?

Not even a great editor, but he needs someone that can overrule him and say "no, this is bad and/or stupid." If you've read that massive article about how things were run at The Shield you can tell that he had great ideas but had to be reigned in a lot, and that was obvious when there was no one left to do the reigning.

Great article. Excellent points about how a great show went off the rails by giving Sutter too much control. Something I've seen many of you complaining about.

At one point, the matter of Clay's survival became so ludicrous that two of the club's contacts in the Mexican drug trafficking world were revealed to be undercover CIA agents with the power to force Jax to let Clay live — the SAMCRO equivalent of "A wizard did it."

I wrote a few pages back about how nonsensical the twist from the season 3 finale was. Season 4's was far worse, because it just completely killed the season-long RICO plotline dead before the CREDITS EVEN ROLLED. At least Sutter had the good sense to plant what he thought were clues in episodes beforehand this time since the S3 twist was literally out of thin air, but it's the actual outcome of the twist itself that just soured me on the season as a whole.

Deadspin has a good article on how atrocious the SOA soundtrack was throughout the series.

Hey, how long is Sons Of Anarchy overrunning this week?

Well, TV Guide says the finale starts at 10 p.m. and doesn’t finish until 1 a.m., but that three-hour length probably bakes in the customary live after-show. The repeat is listed for an hour and 53 minutes, so we’re only overrunning by 53 minutes. Yes, I said “only.” For the last ever Sons Of Anarchy, an episode that can’t even break the two-hour barrier feels somehow paltry. Fingers crossed that 113 minutes will be sufficient time for “Jax to fulfill his father’s legacy in the series finale,” I guess.
