Well, what I try to do (as a passionate gamer as you are) is to share as much infos as possible without breaking the NDAs actually. It's not a "game" I like to play on purpose. :)

I'm just curious to see how SE will react to this.

Sony has to keep the old model in production though, just for the HDD support!

No HDD support?! Wtf is going on?!

Great, just great... They suddenly decided to burn everyone who bought that damn thing, and us Europeans will never get it by now....

$249 it is!

Would be my guess.

And about the PSTwo... how many systems are going to be broken after being pulled off a shelf due to the reduced weight? We need quality wireless controllers, Sony.

Suddenly Magic Swap Discs are in high demand.... LOL.

Surely this will reset when you open the lid?
No HDD support, new mb, flip top design = Anti piracy drive, I'd guess.

um... doesn't that kill some of the space savings (it being a top loader?)

yeah, also kept the price down too though. slot loader would have been more expensive I'd imagine.

And even i am moderately surprised

i just bought a very nice wireless pad this week.... logitec i think... very small and neat.
works a charm, even with the PSX (not the PS1 - the HDD recorder)

Yeah, that controller rocks and batteries seems to last forever. Havent changed them since I bought it (like 3 months ago) despite having played with vibration function on all the time. Nice stuff.

Ya I'm sure it will reset when you open the lid....that is unless you hold down the door sensor so it doesn't know you did that. Think back to PS1.
