On GTTV it just said you can watch Sony's conference live on spike. So there's that. Unless I misheard it..don't think I did.

They said it'd be live on GameTrailers.com and Spike. So it's a bit misleading. Sony's is only available on GT.com.

the DS4 proto-type are not connected to that slim ps3 looking device... If you look closely you will notice that only one wire is connected to the console while the wires connected to the DS4 goes out of view to the side

Kojima confirms on GTTV more MGSV news at E3. I'm guessing he'll be at one of the conferences to announce that it's coming to next-gen consoles. Sounded like it. I say it's 50/50 for which he appears at.

Kojima said "Not much I can say right now but at E3 we can share some details. Please look forward to it. You wont be dissapointed".

Microsoft could beg him and offer him dirty disgusting things so that's a possibility. But Sony and Kojima obviously have a really good relationship so that wouldn't be surprising. Just a few days anyway. I'm just glad that it sounded like a next-gen version was basically implied.

Really weird that after devs went ahead and started using the lightbar for direct feedback to the gamer like this, Sony goes and recesses the lightbar out the gamer's direct line of sight for the final build...I wonder how many devs started incorporating lightbar feedback into their games thinking it was going to remain prominent like this prototype.

They explicitly gave a date and time for when the trailer is being released. I'm sure it IS going to be announced for next gen consoles, but I don't think Kojima is doing the press conference dealie this year.

One of the biggest franchises from a japanese company by a japanese mastermind being exclusive to a console no one in Japan cares about would only alienate the user base in that country, as well as the company's relationship with that user base.

Doesn't mean he can't appear at one of the conferences to announce next gen version. That's what Geoffs question was about when he said it. Also getting Kohima to randomly appear on stage has been a thing in recent years.
