The Witcher 3 is PC, PS4, and Xbone. At least according to the current Edge cover story.
 
I get this feeling that even Square is happy to get the lightning saga behind them and just move on for good. Don't think it will be a big focus at all at E3.

For me they single handedly ruined the reputation of the home console numbered entry of the franchise with XIII. Their internal mess with crystal tools and their desire to drag on a game fans were displeased with, really marred their image.

So going forward, it'll be interesting to see if we are going to have a studio that can deliver more than numbered FF game in the new generation or will it repeating the whole all over again with content being stripped from XV to become XV-2 and then XV-Noctis Returns derivatives.

Truthfully, I would probably be okay with a Versus sequel as long as the story isn't horseshit and the characters aren't unlikeable pieces of garbage.

At least with Nomura at the helm, you know the core gameplay is going to be entertaining, and flashy as hell to boot.

I really need to get a PSP and Vita. There's so many games I've missed on the prior, and will miss on the latter. For whatever reason, handheld gaming just hasn't caught on with me.

That would certainly be my personal highlight if they don't develop for Xbox One (and PS4 if Sony goes the same route). Backing their words with deeds and they will gain my lifetime respect.

I sometime post at witcher boards and in general they believe they won't skip xb1 but might promote other option more

One thing I'd like to inquire:

Is Sony's press conference going to be only an hour? If so isn't that a bit too restrictive (to find the time to talk about games (PS4,PSV and PS3) and services)?

The reveal event took 2 hours and that only had (iirc) 8 titles unveiled.

It just seemed like a rushed console. Sega completely misread the industry and created a console that seemed better equipped to run 2D games than 3D titles. What's weird about this is that Sony was going to do the same thing, but then they saw Virtua Fighter in the arcades and realized that 3D was the future of the industry and that moment completely changed their focus with the PSone.

I was told by my sources that the PS4 actually looks exactly like a live kitten. In fact, it can move around like one too! The blue glow in the teaser trailers is just the color its eyes glow when you shine a flashlight in its face in the dark.

It's totally true. My friend on the internet said it, so it has to be. :)

Hey now, I'm not being negative! I was just making fun of FFXIII. I don't expect Versus to be nearly as bad-off as that game was in the story or characterization department. Nomura may not be the best writer in the world, but at least his characters tend to be likeable people and his stories generate genuine emotion.

Looking at the official schedule I think you're correct. Strange that I kept to thinking it was going to be about an hour. Guess that's what happens when you spend a ton of time at the end of GAF's speculative spear, i.e. things start to blur together.

Keep your expectations in check. This is Sony we're talking about - they almost always start late and end early, with the exception of the PS Meeting where they started on time. They're definitely not going to go over 2 hours unless some top secret reveal gets added to the lineup at the literal last second. Like the original FFXIII on 360 announcement.

Start late and end early? Former may be true, but I don't know about the latter.

I recall a few E3s that were 2.5 hours long....I wish I could go back and verify this.

"One of them?" Possibly. I also didn't care for FFXII and I'm not the world's biggest fan of FFX either, so I'm all over the place!

My avatar should tell you what my favorite FF game was, and the metric standard I hold all Final Fantasy games up to when deciding how I feel about them.

I don't want it it to last so long, one minute is enough.
Sony: You will play as "FREE" as on your PS3.
That's all I want to hear, if there is any word about pubs decisions I don't think I'll buy the console. I'll go PC and I didn't play any game on PC since http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Voodoo3.

On consoles the games are too expensive.
