Wasn't resistance 3 supposed to be shown at PAX in early september? I hope I'm wrong, I can't wait to get news on R3 or whatever Insomniac Games is working on.

Insomniac is doing something for their new project at PAX but they have been strongly hinting that it'll be unveiled before that. Gamescom seems like the most likely place for that.

If there's a price drop on anything, it'll be on the PSP.

Retailers in both Canada, and the US have been slashing prices for them for a while (I'd mention EU, but I have no clue about that). So they might know something we don't.

If there's a price drop on anything, it'll be on the PSP.

Looking at their FY forecast I doubt they will introduce new PSP hardware and/or a price drop.
Which is absolutely weird considering how the platform is struggling in the west and even more if we think that PS3 is now profitable and the jump in sales that PSP could have from a price cut would more than offset the lower margin.
But I guess they have their plans.

From Gamescom I expect details on the new PS3 SKUs and bundles, a lot of Gran Turismo 5 news and maybe a couple of new first/second party announcements.
