Officially concerned about this game, had high hopes after Heavy Rain but this seems like too good of a deal to be just be a deal.

Hope I'm wrong though.

wow, not even Sony has faith in this game... haven't seen any advertising for it either
It's out in 4 months lol. They actually had some cover features in some magazines already and they did this Tribeca thing which completely sold out. Heavy Rain was also only advertised by SCEE, SCEA didn't care. Maybe it happens again lol

i just think they are trying to get as many preorders in as possible because come that time they will be too busy promoting ps4. plus no multiplayer and it is sold on their own store so no sharing profits with anyone else. i see ps3 games being 40.00 or 50.00 going forward once new consoles launch anyway.

B-but you're gonna miss out on that EXCLUSIVE GAMESTOP DLC!!@
Actually this is a much more serious gripe than for most games, given that it's not just some neat costume but a whole LE at no additional charge.

Well, relative to this I guess it's a $25 charge now.

That's why I'm actually hesitant on buying this. I mean it's so damn cheap, it's just..

Probably going to regret it, but what the hell, I'm kinda looking forward to seeing how I'll probably find many things to dislike and write about later. And I love to hate David Cage writing.

Confirms IGN's negative impressions.
They weren't negative. They were actually mostly positive. Just concerned about the focus of the story and some gameplay elements that only appear in this one scene that IGN actually played.

Its not out of the norm... look at GTA 5, even The Last of Us had much more promotion than this game has so far.
Heavy Rain didn't get any marketing 2 weeks before launch and it sold extremely well. Sony won't bother.

Not surprising given the release date. A fully-priced PS3 game with PS4 games already out at that point seems an almost certain failure.

Day-one purchase from me, though. Heavy Rain was one of my favorites last gen. A more fully-realized Walking Dead (which I also loved).

Thanks OP. Ordered. This looks to be the final game I buy for my PS3 before selling it.
