Ultimately what people care about is what games can they play on the platforms they own. I bought a PS4 and an XB1 day one. Now give me games to play on them!
So when discussing the new consoles, I don't really care that Titanfall was on the 360 or PC. We're discussing the new consoles. I don't care that FH2 is on the 360. These things become especially true when you consider what the best platform to play these games is. In the case of Titanfall it's clearly the XB1. The game never sold well on PC, and the player base is very low. On 360 it's just ugly with a lower framerate. The game is still thriving on the XB1, and the matchmaking has never been faster. FH2 is obviously better on XB1.
So people are welcome to draw whatever lines they wish, but other people can also call them out when they do it, because generally speaking those lines only get drawn when someone is trying to push their console over another. "If we put this set of rules around the two consoles, we get this". The only real lines that matter are "what platforms do you own?"
