That's your opinion. I would say that MS's choices at the beginning were not as 'evil' as some of you have tried to make them out to be, and was more of a case of it being too early and them simply getting ahead of themselves.

Agreed. In fact, "Flopping" just reminded me of politics. Politicians are called out all the time for flip-flopping. It's a common debate tactic to expose your opponent's inconsistency. If a candidate was against gay marriage for his entire political career, then all of a sudden turns pro-gay marriage when he decides to run for office, should his opponent not call attention to his flip-flopping? Should people so easily believe he has truly changed his beliefs and won't simply reverse stance once he gets in office? Sony are planting that same doubt about Microsoft. We've all seen MS' true intentions, despite the 180s. They're doing what they must to secure lost mind share, and thus market share. But, what would MS do if they were to gain a dominant market position? Such questions justify Sony's dig, and to remind people that Microsoft have proven to be willing to change policies on a whim.
