There is still a chance. I hope we get it as DLC.I just binge watched the sam raimi trilogy and im still bummed that that spider suit wasnt in this game, I really like the suit's webbing and carbonfiber-like texture.
Update 1.07 is one we’ve been working on for a while now, and adds New Game+ (NG+) as well as Ultimate Difficulty to the game. NG+ allows you to play the story and all activities in the open world again with all of your unlocked suits, skills, gadgets, mods, and benchmarks from the beginning. While playing NG+, you’ll be able to unlock those final items while cleaning up your trophy list!
Speaking of that, we’re adding two new trophies as well – one for completing the game on Ultimate Difficulty, and the other for finishing a NG+ run!
DLC 1 details:
Marvel’s Spider-Man: The Heist, will release in one week on 23rd October.
Beyond new story missions, there’s a whole new faction of enemies, new crimes, new challenges, new trophies, and of course, three brand new suits.
What are the benchmarks that the NG+ update is talking about?NG+ tomorrow

Well, let's face it, most of the suits are pretty lame. Not digging it.
The cynic in me says "there are still two DLCs to sell".why are they playing keep away with the suits everyone is asking for???
Well, let's face it, most of the suits are pretty lame.
But even more so the suit powers. They're good for dicking around for a bit, but at least personally I ended up using either Web Blossom or Electric Punch for pretty much the entire game.
Oh, right, thanks. I didn't pay much attention to those so forgot the game calls them benchmarks instead of stats. They're those random stats like the distance you've ran, swung, amount of baddies defeated etc
I never realized how plain Kaine's costume is until now. I guess they tried with the different textures but still looks pretty plain. The spider logo also seems too high/too small on his chest.Article with pics of the DLC suits...

I hope you are joking. You have to be kidding me.New Game + is not coming tomorrow. Insomniac corrected the blog post, it's however, still scheduled to hit before the DLC drops. So any time this week or early next week.
Nope, that Insomnic Stevenson (?) community guy also confirmed it on quarantine-GAFI hope you are joking. You have to be kidding me.
I'm trying to find reasons to keep playing (just got all secret photos) and this was perfect timing.
Back to suit powers, Spidey Bros was the only one I really used.
Photomode is great:
I'm not a big fan of the suit but it looks great in this screenshot. Homecoming suit looks very detailed too. I really want to see Raimi suit with these graphics.
The wall crawling itself could also be better. The animation is ok but I have encountered this too many times:
You can't climb to the ceiling. There are many places like this in the city.
Added a max health cap of 250 and normalized players.
So they're neither too loud, nor too quiet.Normalized players?
It was a lame attempt at humour. No idea what it means.Players though? What is that referring to exactly? Why doesn't it just say audio, or dialog, or whatever it specifically is?

Context clues implies it's related to the cap. I myself only got to 210 before I got tired of the grind but I wouldn't doubt that someone out there has gone way past 250. All you had to do was do that one easy Kingpin hideout over and over since it keeps giving exp even on repeats.Players though? What is that referring to exactly? 250 is still 25% more health than the soft cap at 200 so I guess it's pretty significant if you're into that kind of thing. I'm more annoyed that they didn't detail what's in the new difficulty. New enemy types? Different compositions? Just plain health and damage dealt?Hmm, I wonder why it would matter post-game or for new game +.
To be honest I thought that was a weird thing anyway, here's 1 fucking hp for doing an entire level up post game. Thanks?

Also these MJ and Miles stealth sequences are just terrible, they feel tacked on as a "diversity" push but they don't really do anything to elevate the story, not to mention that they are overly simple and super tedious.
Once you hit the level 50 softcap (200 health) the exp required to keep leveling plateaus. And as I said, people kept doing that one Kingpin hideout over and over which gives a fixed amount of exp each time. I forgot how much, I think it was 2k each time. It was tedious but it's nowhere near as bad as grinding it out from random crime and the practically useless amount you get from aerial stunts.Yeah, I'm thinking more the work required to get all of the additional level ups after the soft cap. I'm finished everything and I'm not really leveling up that fast, you can only do it from crime and aerial manuever XP post game, right? How are people getting up to 250 lol

They actually do end up having a bearing on the story and setup at least one major aspect for the next game
But I get what Insomniac was going for - to break the gameplay a little for a while, which is a reasonable idea. I don't think it's a matter of "forced diversity" - then again, I'm not the kind to get worked about "diversity", for or against (there are so many special "snowflakes", and yes, I'm using that term intentionally ironically, in this forum too that do this, from "both sides"). Just that the execution was lacking.Still all could have just been cutscenes. MJ has almost no real relevance to the plot but I'm forced to play as her like 6 or 7 different times.

Hence the "execution was lacking". It doesn't need to be downtime, just different.I'm able to stop playing a game if I'm tired of it for a bit, I don't need a game to give me downtime experiences.

Oh sure, and different strokes and all that. Basically, if the side content had been more varied (and meaningful), those bits would have been completely superfluous (apart from setting up a certain character for the inevitable sequel). Just that within the context of the main story, I can see why they wanted to try to shake it up a bit here and there. The results were far from satisfactory, no argument there.I just disagree that a game needs that sort of thing, different for different's sake. I am able to pace things myself. What matters is if I enjoy the main gameplay and it's loops. Variety should have been added to the sidequests - explore Spider-man and his abilities more.
SPIDER-MAN 2's Web-Swing Designer Plays SPIDER-MAN (PS4) for the First Time:
It is great to hear what he thinks about it. I think the web-swinging was great. One of the best parts of the game.
