Just finished the vulture/electro fight. I don’t think I’m going to finish this before Red Dead.
You should. Act 3 is super short. You don’t have much farther to go.

Already got 100% in the DLC.
Pretty fun experience. I hope they release some new information for
the second DLC soon
Hopped into the DLC for a bit, got the second story trophy. So far... pretty underwhelming but I guess it picks up speed soon.
I was really excited for the "new crimes" but oh my god they're beyond boring... don't get too excited there.
For the curious regarding crimes:The challenges, on the other hand, are kind of... okay I guess? Pretty original to say the least.essentially the well beloved crimes we already know from the base game with new NPC models (to represent the story that goes on) and a bomb defuse one that's mind-boggling easy
Screwball meets Taskmaster: Screwball has challenges for you throughout the map. They range from everything: destroying generators on a time limit to defeating enemies with only a combination of gadgets
I think there is one side quest, was easy to grind through but had no payoff yet.
I don't even think they're showing up in the base game per-se. You essentially load into a new game which only has the new content pop up on the map. The only thing shared are the photo locations it seems. And yes, they look the same in terms of UI elements / markers.Sweet thanks for the info! Are the new crimes marked with a different symbol or is it still a red triangle with the exclamation point?
sheesh you're a quick one! Would you say it's worth the cost?
SPIDER-MAN 2's Web-Swing Designer Plays SPIDER-MAN (PS4) for the First Time:
It is great to hear what he thinks about it. I think the web-swinging was great. One of the best parts of the game.
Gonna give it a shot. You should. Act 3 is super short. You don’t have much farther to go.
I agree, I really dislike the "photo bomb" to gain extra points during Screwball Challenges.Has anyone been playing through the DLC and done some of the Challenges(like the Taskmaster ones)?
They're awful, absolutely horrible.
I think there is one MJ segment and it's very short but at least is similar to the last MJ part of the main story where you get the new mechanic for her (so it's not just only having the option to stealth). But yeah, I get you. I would've vastly preferred these parts to be cut.. or at the very least to be Peter missions where you have to stay stealthy as you take down goons without your suit.I almost lost it when I started the DLC last night and the first words of narration are "My name is Mary Jane Watson...", I thought for sure I was getting some more MJ sneaking bullshit.
I only played for like half hour and unlocked the first suit, it's what I expected, more of the same Spidey missions. I'll enjoy it if they can keep MJ segments out.
So I managed to get Gold on everything EXCEPT one Combat Challenge. There's one on a roof that requires 55,000 to get gold and I can only ever manage 54,000~.I agree, I really dislike the "photo bomb" to gain extra points during Screwball Challenges.
I am late to the party here. Got my first ever plat trophy from it. Currently have 100’d main playthrough, dlc, and am a few side activities short on my NG+ playthrough.
Just such a good game. Looking forward to the next two DLC drops
Alright so some thoughts. Just finishedi feel like things are quickly winding down.the second Li fight
I hate challenges but I want more gadget upgrades!
How do you unlock the final suit and is it worth it at all?
That's pretty funny, yes it should always be nighttime.Shouldn't it be nightime?
Finished the story. All in all, that was pretty damn good.
Now I need advice. Do I mop all the rest of the crimes/bases/challenges/side quests I have left, do I hop into the DLC or do I start a NG+ play through? I really wanna get that plat.
I managed to fix it. I had to go to the main game and change the time of day and then go back to DLC. They really should add option to restart the DLC. Immersion is a very important thing for me. I also had another glitch. The game froze duringThat's pretty funny, yes it should always be nighttime.
Does it function alright?
It does, but I found it particularly awesome in general to see any of the suits properly reflected in all the cinematica / story sequences... thanks Insomniac for real-time cutscenes and being able to be Scarlet Spider for most of the game !The Raimi suit looks great. I'm going to play New Game + soon with it. It looks good in photomode:
The combat in this game is sometimes a massive chore. Some enemies are just total bullshit and seem to hit you even after the game has told youve done a perfect dodge, and there's some general floatiness and glitchiness that really hampers the experience. I mean in some of the encounters theres literally shit everywhere and no matter what you do you get hit. When not suffering from those problems it's great.
However the mandatory stealth sections are absolute trash, break the pacing and just boring as fuck. I wish this game wouldnt force me to play as the most boring version of MJ ever.
It was on sale for like a minute last month I think.I would like to play the DLC, but the current price of it is still too high to jump in. Hopefully we can see a sale sooner rather than later.
Why didn't anyone tell me the game was this good? Fine, everyone tried to tell me, but why didn't I listen?
Seriously, this is a lot of fun. While I am a sucker for graphics, production value and all that non-gameplay related fluff (which this has in spades), it's really refreshing to dive into a AAA game that's actually really fun to play. It really feels like it's catering to the gamer, rather than the self-indulgence you sometimes see from devs in big budget games....well, for the most part, the MJ stealth parts are pretty meh, but generally speaking, this game clicks on all cylinders. I'm compelled to finish it (which doesn't happen a lot) thanks in part to an interesting story - something I wouldn't expect in a super-hero game.
