Salmon Run

Might be too easy, though.
Don't worry the difficulty ramps up, and so do the mechanics. Not just in terms of brute force, but there's more bosses and concepts thrown in at higher ranks.

Just encountered the
glowflies, and it's basically a zombie shooter at that point
.

I am going to be playing this game for a very long time.

fuck i'm running up against these jerks with their different weapons and here i am stuck with a rank 1 and rank 3 on my side lol

nzap, carbon roller... can't compete wiht that rate of fire

I've never played Splatoon before but this looks fun. Also, I've only used my Switch in handheld mode since I go t it so how is this game in that mode? Is playing on the TV with a Pro controller really necessary?

With a pro controller? No. For most, the joycons are going to be totally fine.

On a TV? No.

With gyro in handheld mode? Many seem to think that's problematic, but once again, no, you don't need to play it that way.

It's kind of sad seeing a new player use a roller just trying to run me over as I shoot them in the face.

There's a legitimate learning curve to Splatoon. New players are probably going to struggle for a bit. It just isn't like other shooters.

TV with pro is better for gyro controls. If you aren't using gyro, then handheld would be fine. For me though, I'm too used to motion, so even if I play off tv, I'd rather just stick the switch on a stand and play with the pro that way.

how many matches does it take to "get it"?

I'd say it took me about 5 matches during the Testfire.

The key was swimming in ink often. Like, every chance you get. The only times you shouldn't be swimming in ink is when you're shooting, using a splat-roller or are walking on grates.

Just wonder if you guys still keep the Splatfest World Premier or ARMS Global Testpunch apps on your Switch, or do you guys delete them?

I missed the splatfests due to personal reasons. Never played Splatoon before. Can anyone recommend this title? I am a first-person shooter and third-person shooter fan.

I deleted Testpunch, but I'm debating keeping Splatfest and Testfire since I really like Splatoon and I'd be sad if they disappeared once they're inevitably delisted.

So how many different tunes are there for multiplayer matches and what are they called?

I won't be able to play this game for the next few months, but I atleast want to be able to jam out to the OST!

Just got Spatoon 2 and found out it has NO local couch co-op. I thought one of the directs talked about 2-player single switch modes including co-op salmon run.

Hey, this might be a dumb question, but how do you get all the outfit pieces from an amiibo? Like I scanned the green squid amiibo from Splatoon 1 and I got the helmet, but how would I go about getting the other ones? Scanning it again only has the option of taking a picture with it.
