Yeah nah SR actually gets fucking terrible when someone drops out and there are two snakes, three sharks, and two of those guys with shields all in your shit.

Ditto. Same age too ;)

Salmon run earlier was great. Tonight I got stuck with every idiot that doesn't know the goal. People running around carrying eggs not turning in. Not attacking bosses. Killing bosses then not getting eggs. Need a break. :(

Yeah, my last 3 games someone dropped out of Salmon Run which makes it VERY hard to win. Especially when I don't notice and don't realize I'm the last one alive... Getting a little better at the game, but this sums up my day:)

That feeling when you splat three people in a blaze of glory, then open the map to see that your team is somehow losing ground.

"Apparently I left Superman alive by mistake."

When you're one f*cking egg away from finishing the third round and you're ten feet from the container but the ground is the wrong ink and there's a snake on your ass.

Thank God SR is over for tonight, don't think I could handle any more BS.

Does anyone know how the heck you look at stats or buy stuff in the app? I see Splatoon in the game service section but it only gives me information for connecting with friends when I click on it...

I want to know if there are some good priced pens for the Switch screen to draw.
Then again, I have that special screen protector and it may not work., but I have no intention to take it off.

I don't understand scoring for Rainmaker like at all. The game ended with it closer to them but we lose?

It's about who got the closest to the goal if neither teams wins with a KO. You can see who is in the lead by looking at the meter at the top of the screen.

And he meter shows distance to the enemies goal? Is it the closest you've gotten so like max distance over the whole round?

I don't understand how the gear from the app works.

1. Order one thing at a time from the app.
2. Purchase it in game.

That I get. You can only order one thing at a time, sp order something new afterwards. Now for my questions.

1. How long does the game keep my reserved item?
2. How often do the app items rotate? And will they repeat if I miss something?
3. Do they mean for/is it realistic to get every item from the app before the rotation?
4. Will the gear in the app become higher tier (3 star etc) after I've leveled up more?
5. Is the gear in the app generally more worth my money than the gear on the in-game shop? Or should I focus on acquiring stuff from the shop first?

Yes, the smaller the number the better. It doesn't matter when either team gets closest. So your team's first run could have gone all the way down to 9. Like 9 steps from the goal. If you never get closer, that's your best score and that will be compared to the opposing team's closest distance if neither team wins with a KO.

Hey everyone. Just got my account so this is my first post ever here!

Currently looking for friends to play with, I'm based in Japan though

If anyone wants to add me 7119-8379-2497 is my friend code, looking for more friends on the Switch in general too so I'm looking forward to playing with you all!

I forget

Does abilities stack

Like 2 repsawn quick abilities stack and make it faster

or 2 swim fast go faster than 1

Alright, lets get this out of the road quickly, since this was a problem in S1 regarding misinformation. The exact values and curves have yet to be determined for Splatoon 2, but should follow the same behaviour as in Splatoon 1, which is the following:

All abilities that can be turned into sub abilities are stackable. They are stakable via diminishing returns that follow a parabolic function centered around a pure stack of every single main and sub ability slot having the same ability. This means that 2 mains worth of Run Speed is NOT the same as two individual Run Speed mains simply adding up, but it is still worth more than just the 1 Run Speed Main.

Generally, you can stack up to three mains worth of a given ability before the diminishing returns become too severe, although there are some fringe cases where you may want to use even more.

A Main is worth slightly more in ability affect than a 3 subs, although the difference is small.

Unique abilities that cannot be turned into sub abilties, such as haunt, Ninja Squid, and Thermal Ink, are non-stackable.

The inkbrush... Is kind of awesome! They gave it such a good kit. It plays a little like the old Octobrush with the Splat Bomb... But the Splashdown special is great when cornering people.

What's up with this new Inkbrush people are talking about? Is it a SplatNet thing?

Check out Sheldon's shop. The Inkbrush should be in there, just added to the game. Don't know the level unlock, though.

I followed most of that...i think

don't understand this part

Do you mean sub abilitys are worth less in effect than the first main ability on gear
