Oh by that I mean they literally never got on Tower. In the whole game. Even to keep an Overtime going.

Also, we wiped them early, but I was the only dude on the first checkpoint, when we ALL should have pushed through that in seconds. But they all three went into enemy's base and died. Not even one stayed behind to lessen the checkpoint.

Ah alright, sounds bad lol.

But yeah i usually find that most times you also want to leave the tower alone because it'll keep going even with no one on top, even if it means to temporarily cede control. Because being on that tower is a giant "KILL ME" sign.

Better to wipe out the opposing team first and then gain more meterage.

It covers a lot of ground and looks dangerous as hell, but if people are using it to paint a lot of area (shooting them straight out in long lines), they are vulnerable to being shot from up close.

Now if you have crazy folks that throw them around in tight areas (like me). They are extremely dangerous to take out, but aren't covering much area.

I think the only issue I have with them is that they need to raise the amount of ground you need to cover to get it. You can get it way too fast and too often.
 
Keep getting an "An error occurred. Please try again." when connecting to the lobby.

This sucks. I worked hard today. I need this.

Yup, me too, and I only played two matches before eating dinner. Another reason why having Salmon Run available all the time would be nice in case the regular servers get messed up
 
Curling Bomb is good in Turf War but it's not really done much for me in ranked. It's hard to direct them reliably into the Splatzone and I find they often travel through, although they can be good on some maps for shutting off the entrance (Humpback Pump Track especially). In Tower Control they're not getting you control of the tower. Best used in Rainmaker, but not to spam, instead you curl and swim behind the curl to press hard.
 
Greaaat, just got done with a 12 hour shift & meeting friends at a pub, thought I'd get some games before bed except online's completely down it seems like

Yep. Especially when it's paired with the Aerospray which already covers ground stupidly fast.

Another fault of the Curling Bomb launcher though is you're super vulnerable to attacks from above. Sometimes it's best to save it for when you can get a particularly nice bit of high ground (the bit in the center of Inkblot stands out) before you use it just to cut off one kind of ambush.
 
Tower Control just sucks.

I like it actually, I think Rainmaker is worse, part of the issue being that I really don't like the way the Rainmaker weapon is in this game. You can't solo with it, but still it just isn't incredibly fun to use. You also have the issue of people not knowing how to play and take the Rainmaker back toward your base.

Played three games of tower control before it went down and didn't like it because every game was absolute destruction, win or lose. Where's the fun in it when you'll know the winner in first 10 seconds but can't even rage quit?

It's probably the most back and forth mode for me honestly.
 
I wanna say splat zones for me is just crazy.

I feel like splatzones is a close seconds, but I've definitely had my fairshare of getting blown the fuck out.

In TC, getting the tower back in overtime and then riding it out till we steal back the lead is da best.
 
What is the Power Level that shows on the bottom of the maps before a game starts?
