Does that stack only if you're manually adding abilities? So if you roll a natural 2, and then add a third from chunks, it will cost 10 or 30?
It costs 30.

Hah, glad to know I'm not the only person to do this. I generally book it to the other side of the map as fast a possible.
I sometimes don't see that my team is dead and have been in spots where I should have evaded, just didn't know. Wish there was a "You're the last one" message or something.
iirc there's a little stripe in the top left corner of the screen that shows each squid and what weapon they equipped. If a squid is down, it'll be black and crossed out on that stripe. I check that pretty often to see how many squids are up or not, and if I have to go revive someone.Yeah it's the best thing to do in all honesty. There's not much to gain by trying to revive anyone unless they're near you, and with seconds to go the chances of you killing a boss and then adding more eggs is unlikely
That's a fair point, and I appreciate that can be the case sometimes.
At the very least something should appear on the screen informing you that you're the last one standing or something, if they don't allow us the option of a message. Booyah is pretty much useless to be fair lol.
I saw people with triple abilities on their gear and was like "Oh awesome, I can't wait to do that." Before I realized that they were crazy. 60 ability chunks is a pain/super expensive to get.

I don't understand how Salmon Run works. I played 20 games in a row and lost 16 of them. Why were they soooo difficult today? The other day it was much easier and I hate how they force you to use weapons you're not good with.
I hope they change it to where we can use any weapon.
Lol it isn't foolproofI did that, ended up with 30 Ink Resistance chunks lol, stupid Squidforce

Sea Snail junkie...
Y'all got any more of them Splatfests?
Yeah it's rough. I have yet to finish one since it got harder but I have also only been able to play with randoms in salmon run. Still make some progress and gaining points and rewards.Yeah they threw 3-4 bosses at a time.
So when does next splatfest start? Still new to splatoon.Sea Snail junkie...

They're usually monthly.Nekketsu Kõha;245613880 said:So when does next splatfest start? Still new to splatoon.

I do enjoy it and I like that it got a lot harder. Means it will remain challenging in the future.can't believe it is better than Destiny my opinion anyway lol

I think there's a clue that pops up after the round that says to find the fountain that glows the brightest. Just shoot until it pops out after that.My first time with the gold fountain thing in Salmon Run.... We all failed as it seemed I wasn't the only clueless squid.
I had actually just read the manual about the fountains beforehand but still failed as I found a fountain with no light, then one with a gold light but the gold boss guy came from another fountain.
Are you just supposed to identify the right fountain and then wait until the gold fish comes out?
I really wished Salmon Run had voice chat. This is the one mode that needs to chat with randoms because it can get hectic. I think it needs voice chat when it gets harder. When you first play Salmon Run it doesn't need it, but yeah when you go up in rank I wish it had it.
Trying to finish the single player so I can use the Marie amiibo.
It's too dull for me. This is the first time I've prioritize multiplayer over single player in a game though.

Completing it gets you the hero replica gear to use in multiplayer, and it can be a good place to find some Crusty Sean tickets, but there's nothing truly required from it.Nekketsu Kõha;245614770 said:I did the first part and was bored and stopped. Does single player matter? Like rewards or anything. I would rather not do it.
No idea what hero replica gear is. But I use my amiibo gear and don't wanna change that. So unless it is better (I did add slots,) then yeah I won't bother. Thanks for answering.Completing it gets you the hero replica gear to use in multiplayer, and it can be a good place to find some Crust Sean tickets, but there's nothing truly required from it.
You can't reroll them like with Murch, but you can get alternate versions of gear's main abilities via Annie on the SplatNet app.
Grizzco abilities just seem random.

There is a rhythm game? You also unlock some songs in the rhythm game if you care about that at all.
You had one in august and a warm up splatfest in July. If they made this a weekly occasion, people would have too many snail shells.Nekketsu Kõha;245614366 said:Oh so we have had one so far? And we have one once a month? I thought it was once a week. Maybe I spent too many of those shells ..
Right next to the DDR machine in the right side of the plaza.Nekketsu Kõha;245615366 said:There is a rhythm game?

Yeah pretty much. The hint you get about the light only refers to the light that shines after you shoot the fountain, not before. The closer you are, the brighter the light.
If you ID the right one a notification will pop up on everyone's screen and it'll be the first thing to pop out of that geyser. Supposedly the one with the Goldie glows more than the others, but I really haven't noticed it and just try and hit every valve once it starts.
Ok we just got another valve run and failed haha😂
So once the valves are popped then I'm supposed to look for the brightest one and chill by it killing the salmonids that emerge until the Goldie pops out?
This past game I thought I had the brightest one but it was a different valve 🙄
I haven't seen the pop up notification that someone has found the right valve yet..... I'll keep my eyes open. I'm playing with randoms so I'm just assuming most of us are lost😐
Yeah, you place an order on the app, and then talk to Murch to pay and pick it up. You can only have one piece of gear on order from Anniezon at a time, or if you order something else before picking up the prior order, it'll be overwritten.Huh, haven't messed with that yet. I'm guessing she's kind of like Murch with ordering gear?
If other salmonids come out the Goldie isn't going to come out, but you should try killing them anyway otherwise the map gets overrun when you actually do find the goldie.
Ah! Perhaps that's the messaging I'm looking for.... if you find the right fountain ONLY the Goldie comes out?
Yeah, and Grizz will tell you when it happens.
I guess for you. The people I was with had a hard time. I tried my best, but I suck ass with that charger rifle. I hate it. I feel useless with it.I thought today was pretty easy actually. Hit tatuzin 140 in no time.
It appears on top straight away and sits there for a few seconds before it starts running to another fountain which it will jump in and disappear.Ah! Perhaps that's the messaging I'm looking for.... if you find the right fountain ONLY the Goldie comes out?
