Yeah it's the best thing to do in all honesty. There's not much to gain by trying to revive anyone unless they're near you, and with seconds to go the chances of you killing a boss and then adding more eggs is unlikely

I sometimes don't see that my team is dead and have been in spots where I should have evaded, just didn't know. Wish there was a "You're the last one" message or something.

iirc there's a little stripe in the top left corner of the screen that shows each squid and what weapon they equipped. If a squid is down, it'll be black and crossed out on that stripe. I check that pretty often to see how many squids are up or not, and if I have to go revive someone.

Whenever you can when available again wear your splatfest shirt for turfwars or durinf splatfest when you have to and everytime it gains an ability you can scrub it for 2000 instead of 20000 money to gain that chunk.

You're right. There's also similar in other online modes too. I glance at it too, but you can never be sure about what other people do.

I just feel if there was perhaps a big message flashing across the screen it might make people aware, then again I don't think you're ever going to eradicate certain behaviours when playing online with randoms.

The only way to avoid it is to play with friends, or like minded people from forums etc.

To be honest even if everyone is alive, once the countdown timer shows I make a point to head to safety just incase, as I've seen a few bosses on screen take out 4 people real quick.

Just incase you don't know, once you hit level 30 (and each level after) you're awarded a snail from Judd (cat). I actually didn't know about it, there was nothing obvious telling me but perhaps I missed it lol.

I only found out after talking to him randomly while I happened to be level 30.

That wouldn't be fun at all. I like the challenge of using random weapons. Today's is tough because of two charger weapons.

I really wished Salmon Run had voice chat. This is the one mode that needs to chat with randoms because it can get hectic. I think it needs voice chat when it gets harder. When you first play Salmon Run it doesn't need it, but yeah when you go up in rank I wish it had it.

My first time with the gold fountain thing in Salmon Run.... We all failed as it seemed I wasn't the only clueless squid.

I had actually just read the manual about the fountains beforehand but still failed as I found a fountain with no light, then one with a gold light but the gold boss guy came from another fountain.

Are you just supposed to identify the right fountain and then wait until the gold fish comes out?

Yeah pretty much. The hint you get about the light only refers to the light that shines after you shoot the fountain, not before. The closer you are, the brighter the light.

If you ID the right one a notification will pop up on everyone's screen and it'll be the first thing to pop out of that geyser. Supposedly the one with the Goldie glows more than the others, but I really haven't noticed it and just try and hit every valve once it starts.

Completing it gets you the hero replica gear to use in multiplayer, and it can be a good place to find some Crusty Sean tickets, but there's nothing truly required from it.

You can't reroll them like with Murch, but you can get alternate versions of gear's main abilities via Annie on the SplatNet app.

Grizzco abilities just seem random.

A way around that would be to reduce the number of snails awarded for each rank.

But what would people prefer, more regular splatfests with lower rewards, or less frequent with higher rewards?

Finally got enough Ability Chunks from Sea Snails to slot an extra Swim Speed Up in my shirt, giving me a pretty decent set of gear for Tower Control with my Rapid Blaster! I just continually re-rolled a piece of Krak-on gear that had 3 slots and it gave me a bunch of other useful chunks. I needed 20 Swim Speed Up chunks to replace a Bomb Defense up in the first slot.

Yeah, you place an order on the app, and then talk to Murch to pay and pick it up. You can only have one piece of gear on order from Anniezon at a time, or if you order something else before picking up the prior order, it'll be overwritten.

This is all totally separate from ordering gear off of squids in your Square, btw.
