I hope the person that decided Wave 1 high tides with a fly fish immediately spawning past the grates was acceptable is forced to play that eternally in hell.

Okay....I can't.

I still hate Moray Towers. It was in my top 2 most despised maps in the first game (locked in a constant battle with Mahi Mahi), and it's easily my least favorite to play on in this game too. It was a pain in the ass originally and now with the rework it's a pain in the ass for completely different reasons, and I feel like none of my main weapons have much of a use there aside from Sploosh. Just bleh. Just a race to see who can base-invade the best with no real battleground.

Fuck Moray towers.

It's a stage that needs more coordination than most. You need at least one player dedicated to holding the center while others focusing on suppressing enemies or invading enemy territory. If you don't let the enemy into your side you basically have a 50% chance of winning.

Managed to snag a pair of shoes off of someone in the square with Ink Saver (Sub) Main, and then 2x Ink Saver (Sub) sub abilities, plus a free slot in the back. I have no idea how the person got them, considering they're Enperry and not predisposed to giving out Ink Saver (Sub) abilities, but whatever. There's no way in hell I'll get a 4th Ink Saver (Sub) on these, but Enperry at least has a higher chance of Sub Weapon Up.

The real point is that now Autobombs are REALLY stupid when they only cost about half of your tank. It's so easy to harass people with them and force them to move (hopefully into danger) when you're just chucking them constantly. I'm totally set for that Sloshing Machine now!
Enperry is neutral to saver sub. The brand anti-bias is ink resistance

I am incredibly satisfied with Sloshing Machine 2!

The run speed is even faster than what it was back in Splatoon 1, and the sloshing animation itself is faster too, it no longer has that weird Blaster-like pause to it that it had in S1, so the weapon is overall much easier to handle now.

There is a consequence of it consuming ink faster due to the faster sloshing tho lol. But the range feels the same as in S1, and the damage is the same, which is fine.

Overall I'm very happy with the result, thank you Nintendo!

The Sloshing Machine is really cool. I didn't like it very much in the first Splatoon, but this one feels a little quicker, a little snappier. Feels like they boosted the Run Speed a bit... Was doing a lot of hopping and strafing back and forth with it. It's fun how active the weapon is with its movement. Had a lot of fun duels with Squiffers tonight.

Manta Maria seems like it is built for the Sloshing Machine, with all those places you can drop shots on people. The map kinda feels like Flounder Heights and Hammerhead Bridge has a baby, with all the wallplay and grates and stuff.

Really love the kit. I struggle with Sloshers and Blaster sometimes in tracking down enemies in ink (I make one wrong turn and get ambushed), so the Autobomb is greatly appreciated. I'm pretty bad with Stingray but I like the echolocator part of it so I can find a good matchup or situation afterwards. Tentamissles would probably be better for it, though.

Also, it splats Tri-Sloshers pretty well. Love arc'ing shots over their sloshes. Good at dealing with Inkjets too.

The sloshing machine is interesting. It's super strong and has great range but loses the wide impact of the trislosher. Not sure if the trade off is worth it in ranked modes.

Woot the splohshing machine is back that was my weapon of choice in Splatoon 1 i wrecked with it hopefully it's as good in Splatoon 2.

And the new stage is awesome finally a good Splatoon 2 stage (that Splatfest one is also good:p rest sucks tho)

And tommorow finally that new stage in a Salmon Run shedule.

Life is gud right noaw.

Oh and that Splatfest dialoge is god tier #TeamMarina. (watching Inklings splat their zones lmao)

Altho Pearl's dialoge was hilarious too.

What the hell did the last patch do!? Been having some serious problems with teleporting players and getting splatted over ten seconds after the other player was splatted...

Team Flight locked in! What has everyone here gone for?

Only had a chance to jump on for that. Can't wait to try out the new maps this evening!

I wont be able to play till tonight myself. But i think im going to choose team Flight as well. I think Invisible will be the popular vote though.

Fuck that was tense. After 3 cracks plus one more loss already, I practically carried that shit by myself in the first 20 seconds. Blew up the rainmaker, killing three of them, and then carried it to within 17 clicks. And then cleared the path for my teammate after a brief back-and-forth struggle.

Been awhile since I played and the rust is real. Strangely, haven't seen as much as the new weapons and I have seeing more Chargers.

Ripped off a 7-win streak after a losing spate to get SuperFresh with the Tri-Slosher.

I'm riding this thing until it's inevitable nerf.

Excited AF for the new Salmon Run stage, but I'm not convinced it'll be as good as Marooner's Bay. The fact that the tank is in an enclosed space is ???????? Gonna be a lot of dying in there lol

Played a few matches today for the first time in a couple weeks. Thoughts:

-The new map is awesome, probably my favorite new map so far. Lots of good vertical gamplay, multiple areas to pay attention to, etc

-The Brella is a fascinating design for a weapon but yeah, its not very good. I hope they find some creative buff to make it worth playing with it

-I didn't use the Sloshing Machine much in Splatoon 1 but I think its really clicking for me now, it plays the way I think I always hope a blaster will play but never quite get out of that class of weapon

I got a weapon to fresh. Is there any advantage to going beyond that?

EDIT: The new map is absolutely fantastic, by the way, and I'm 6-0 on it so far... feels damn good!

I'm rather enjoying the sloshing machine, while it requires more accuracy up close than the tri-slosher, it can decimate people at a longer range pretty rapidly and doesn't seem to suffer from damage drop off from being flung down at people below you (I could be wrong on this, but they definitely seem to be dying in the usual 2 to 3 hits when I bombard them from on high). Autobombs are just such a good sub too :3

There's another xp bonus for taking it to super fresh (15.0+) but otherwise, no

Wow, I just went on a 19-3 run. That feels incredibly good. Got my first superfresh weapon and freshed another. The N-Zap is clearly the weapon for me.

Tried the Tri-slosher and while it's incredible in combat it's just too imprecise at painting the stage for me to enjoy it. I like to focus on painting rather than fighting. For ranked, though, the tri-slosher will be part of my rotation for sure.

Only played seven~ rounds on Manta Maria last night, but it may be my favorite S2 stage so far. It feels like something that could have been in 1. Sort of like a more complex Kelp Dome with more flanking areas.
