I am loving it, you can definitely tell who gets it and who doesn't.
There are a lot of matches where I have over 300 points before I see an enemy. I try to paint too much though and I need to work on my refill skills.

Holy Squidus, the Jr. is eazy mode. Taking over while my sister is AFK and I'm easily scoring over 800-1000 points without any effort. =(

I like the hub area but it'd be extra-turbo-cool if it were a PSO/Destiny style hub with a couple dozen other players loaded in.

yeah I actually bought this game primarily for the single player yet here I am sinking hours into the multiplayer
The 52 gal is pretty cool. It has a slower rate of fire but its more accurate than the splattershot which in turn makes it more powerful if you have to confront the other team. Splattershot had me a bit more panicky because not all my shots would hit due to the size of the spread fire.

Yes, that's where most of the points comes from if I recall correctly.
You rush down the middle so you can start establishing control of the center. If you block your enemy's progress you're free to let one of your team mates ink your area at their leisure.

I don't know why, but it is really amusing when lobbies turn into near GAF member lobbies. Probably has to do with how hard it is to set that up.

Yeah, that's the objective of the game. Don't go looking for kills (unless you sue charger). Just cover ground, and kill if you really need to.

With the 52 gal, I play base defender. Everyone just rushes out, I stay around the spawn area splatting walls and killing people who try to sneak up from the back. Works great as an area denial weapon since it has that spray wall thingy too.
And splatting walls is easily the best way to get % without the other team noticing. I've had a number of battles where the ground was obviously for the other team but we win by like 1% due to us splatting walls everywhere.

Started playing this. Was not feeling the motion controls. And wow the y axis is sensitive compared to x. Wish you could control the sensitivities independently. Also, no manual? Nintendo's losing it.

Motion controls are godlike IMO. Having am easy time winning with default Splattershot Jr and Bubble.
Played a bunch of rounds with Zornack. He's a really fun ally and opponent. He was playing a roller, and is really good at getting those sneaky kills. I was playing around with the Kraken roller and had a lot of fun with it. The Kraken special just feels like the Bubbler in a way, where you can just whip it out at the last second. Got a triple-kill with it once. So satisfying.
The only thing I don't like about the roller is spending all the drudge work time painting the base while all the shooters go have fun. With the Kraken special, you basically gotta fill that meter beforehand.

I want to be a defender. But I don't trust the randoms enough to get the job done. I'm basically running all over the map supporting everyone lol
And I thought walls didn't count towards the %?
Yeah I can't play with the y axis this slippery either. Going to turn the sensitivity way up and put motion controls back on.

Stay behind and cover everything left behind. Watch on your map for areas recently taken over by the other team. They're less likely to be there.
