I hope you have like 1000 sea snails and some accounts across various level thresholds to test ;P Not that it's impossible for that information to be correct, just that I don't know how we should know any better.
maybe, although having to take it to the enemy's spawn kind of makes that less of an issue
You can get from Rainmaker to poll in around a respawn time if you teammate is still alive, especially on certain small maps.
I've had five games in a row where my score was at least twice that of at least two of my teammates.
I'm less bothered about the final score as I am about the fact that I keep getting matched with teammates who can't breathe and shoot at the same time.
rainmaker has made me come back to the custom splattershot jr. it's a great weapon set for this mode
It was nice being able to switch to your stream right after the finish and see it from a completely new angle.

I'm starting to wonder if the forge splattershot pro might be a good idea to use on rainmaker since having the point sensors might be enough to scare away people from trying to sneak up on ya. I'll have to try it later.

Lmao Splashwall is just amazing in rainmaker ESPECIALLY on saltspray rig.

I remember it was on camp triggerfish, you were rushing toward our spawn while I was shooting at you. I could have just been missing but it really looked like you were swimming through my shots and ink towards me.
And yeah thanks I think so too. I was still doing stupid things like letting you kill me even when I knew exactly where you were hiding lol

If I'm remembering this fight you almost killed me but you just didn't lay down enough ink to stop me from swimming. I can swim through small patches of your ink, which is probably what you saw me doing. I get hit a lot when I rush people but if your shots aren't sustained I can power through it.

Did I hear correctly that you were having some control stick issues?
I'm a little spooked after a previous incident that seemed to be dust collecting in the left control stick groove areas and recently seeing it drop face first out of a chair I was in. It hasn't given me anything for concern while playing, but seeing it react like that kinda scared me again. :lol

Good news is that the screen didn't crack.
My GamePad's been colliding with various padded chairs and sofas at high rates of speed lately and been fine outside of needing to Y-button re-center the camera view. I'm sure your pad is fine as long as the screen itself isn't damaged.
Hmm...post-tequila seems like a fine time to try and jump on for some ranked singles, you think? I bet this can only go well.

I use it as my main weapon in rainmaker. I escort and defend. The Forge is great in general for splat zones as well, with point sensor. I don't bother with the sensor much in rainmaker. It is the range and power that excel in that mode.

Well I only wound up getting to play Rainmaker for about half an hour, but in that time I suppose I learned a few things. One, the mode is crazy and hectic and I enjoy it for that. Two...I'm definitely good enough at the game to be making it above water soon and I should have really been playing more ranked all along. Outside of the disconnect, there was one loss and like five or six wins, all by knockout except for one really close match. Even went 20:5 in the last game for a slight ego boost.
One thing that seems really typical in these lower-rank rooms is the single-mindedness of people when it comes to trying to break the rainmaker's shield without really considering what enemies might be around them. Holding off the shield-burst with fire just enough to get into a decent flanking position works out so well. I surprisingly like the escort mission dynamic of it, too (the first fun escort mission?!).
All in all, fun times. And I might've even repaired my previously-broken relationship with the splattershot.

Yeah, it's awesome. There were a couple times when a random player and I were on the same page, and I'd bust into kraken and he'd just follow in my wake to the goal while the other team either got splatted or ran away in fear.

The bubbler is so good in splat zones, it makes me sad that there are only 5 weapons that have it. Same for the 3 weapons with disruptors.
