Mutta is so observant. What I thought was just a character tic is turning into a beneficial trait. Interesting to see why Mutta has the guardian angel in JAXA that he does as well.
Six episodes and quality is still consistent so I've high hopes it never drops off too far if at all.

First thing i'm watching when I get home.
So good. This show is charming.

The girls are guns, certain areas of a gun correspond to areas in a person. The stock/butt is... the butt/pantsu. Stomach is the firing pin, etc.

Fairy Tail 72

Seriously, what the fuck is going on with this arc? Gray character development, Nico Robin as a villain, and strangest of all, a friggin
Unison Raid between Gray and Juvia.
If I didn't know any better, I wouldn't think this was filler at all.

I think FT filler might be better than OP filler based on this. Though it is the first filler "arc", so there are probably plenty of shitty ones.

I'm going to be extremely busy this week, so this is just a notification that I have viewed the aforementioned according to the terms of a deal with a second party. Proper impressions will have to wait.

Io is a pimp. He has all of them eating out of hands.

Kuroko no Baske 5

Filler episode in terms it didn't really advance the story that much but the banter with Kuroko and Kagami at the end was good. I think with the pace they are going we are going to see the next big rival game in episode 7.

Just when you thought it was safe to go back in the water...

Between Upotte and MGX, this has been a landmark week for female body fluids. Tsubaki broadens his horizons this week by inadvertently discovering that he
really likes the smell of Urabe's sweat
, bringing firehawk's joke prediction uncomfortably close to reality.

Other than that, beach episode! I am honestly shocked that Urabe actually followed through on a promise, but fortunately this appears to be a sign that she's becoming more receptive to Tsubaki's needs.
A tan Urabe is fine too, I guess.
Tsubaki would certainly think so;
he discovered a love for tan lines but the poor bastard has to wait a whole year to see them again
. It was a slow episode, but there was relationship progress which is what ultimately matters.

Oh cool a new girl was introduced this episode. Hope she has potential to be funny like Charmander.

So Mahiro's mom is just a Monster Hunter addict isn't she? And she leaves the house for long time just to go to her gaming conventions. Poor kid

They're fluid, yes, but when I'm watching Sailor Moon and I see the beautiful fluid hand drawn ribbons there, Suite just can't compare. Also, the transformation itself is rather boring, the sequence is too short and doesn't focus enough on each part.
This is not the same as this.
And only one of them has CG ribbons.

Fate/zero 18

Looks like this ep, and the following ep judging by the kiritsugu narration at the end of this ep look to be his "explanation" to saber. no wonder the guys a dick, his dads a douche mage, kind of like a certain douche mage from another magic family who got stabbed last week. the similarities between kiritsugu's paps and tokiomi are obvious. mages just seem to only care about themselves and there research. it was sad to see what happened to Shirley.

the other nice thing about this ep, was seeing both the mages association, and the churches executioners in business doing there day to day stuff while there isn't a holy grail war going on. It also leads me to the question of how the fuck did kirei end up as part of both organizations? cant wait for next week, to see the rest of kiritsugu's background story.

from a production standpoint ufotable definitely brings the good in this episode, the difference in tone, the lack of the OP do a good job of setting this episode away from the main story, infact untill the
crazy vampire zombies
you could argue this episode was an oav from a completely different series who's main character just happened to be named kiritsugu. the island was colorful, and the water effect during a few scenes in this episode looked very nice. other than that i was completely satisfied with this episode, and found it to be one of the better eps of the series thus far.

in the mean time ill numb myself with the pain pleasure of akb0048 tomorrow, to make the wait for next weeks fate/zero much easier to handle.

The audience reactions' timing in the talk show segment were terrible, hahaha. But I'm glad they're just sticking to Japanese instead of trying their hand on Engrish.

"People who are really strong don't need to fight."

Amazing. This is certainly my favorite new show this season (with Apollon being a close second). The best among the great.

The Light of El Cantare
Fate/Zero 18:

Wow. That was emotionally brutal the whole way through, but an extremely satisfying introduction to
Kiritsugu's past. I'm going to withhold judgment on whether or not his backstory changes my opinion of him, as this was apparently only half of the story and, well, it's obvious that his mentor from the magus association is no longer alive and I need to see exactly how that comes about.

I think that Kiritsugu benefits most from a backstory episode, and not just because Saber is the closest thing in the show to a protagonist. His entire purpose for living makes him the mortal enemy of every other participant in the Holy Grail War, and ultimately Saber is probably going to have to make a choice at a decisive moment to accept or reject his philosophies on killing. His reasons for believing what he believes are apparently going to be of extreme importance to the show if it was deemed necessary for viewers to be given at least two episodes' insight into his character, so I'm expecting a monumental payoff for this time investment
.

Also, was
one of the magus on the island a young Kayneth
?

Argh, I still can't see those drool moments without turning my head away

Urabe, what are you doing sharing your drool around with other boys? Very disappointed in you.

Good times. Coach is still one the best girls of the season in my books. Fuck off haters!

And it's odd how the non important games are animated better than the actual games.

The Light of El Cantare
Doubt it. From the looks of it, it was a cameo from Kara no Kyoukai.

Nah, the design looks totally different. Probably some obscure Type-Moon dude being cameo'd.

Just so we're all on the same page, it's this guy. To me he kind of looked like
Kayneth, except with Waver's hair (which would have been a fun bit of irony if this actually had been young Kayneth.)

This is probably as good a time as any to ask: do I need familiarity with any other Type-Moon works to watch Kara no Kyoukai? I thought that it was somehow related to Tsukihime, which I know nothing of and probably never will.

No but you shouldn't watch Kara no Kyoukai because it's really ugly. Everything bad with digital animation in one horrifying package.

Nope. (in before you shouldn't watch it at all)

It's this guy: http://myanimelist.net/character/16751/Cornelius_Alba

And no it's the first Type-Moon work so no familiarity needed.

Romanes Eunt Domus
Space Brothers 06

This episode looked very cheap. Derpy faces galore and lots of weird transitions between scenes, particularly the last one. It's a good thing that the script is so strong, but it makes me wonder if the animator's will be able to keep up with this for longer than one cour.
