First Anime knowing it was Anime: Dragonball/Z, Sailor Moon or Pokemon since they were airing at roughly the same time or maybe 2-3 years apart. Was quite long ago.
First Subbed: No idea.

This can only mean one thing, it's either getting a live action show or a live action movie which is why they commission a second season.
Great news. I thought the BD sales had killed any chance of this.
This gives me a reason to finally go through season 1.

First anime: Robotech, Voltron, Saber Rider, Lily C.A.T., Crystal Triangle - a video store in my city had bootleg VHS tapes of anime, these are the ones I remember watching, I was like 5 years old.
First anime knowing it was anime: Dragon Ball / Sailor Moon - I think I was around 10 at the time, 1997 or so, German and Italian television.
First subbed anime: Rurouni Kenshin: Reminiscence, in 2001 I think, I was 15 and I started watching anime more actively, some good stuff was on German TV at the time, like Cowboy Bebop and Escaflowne.

how did he kill the secret? they shoot it and nothing happens, then somehow the nirvash hulks out and squashes it easily in its arm? what? why did he shoot his allies to reveal what looks like trapar? to make the enemy visible? but they just shot it before with no problem...
