I am a little disappointed in Uchuu Kyoudai / Space Bros ep 1 - I guess I was expecting PlanetEs, and this was.. not that. Hopefully it picks up, but:

I've never had the desire to lick saliva off of a girl's finger. Tasting saliva is a byproduct of kissing, but looking at it like it's some kind of magical nectar is an entirely different issue.

I see nothing wrong with exposition dumps. It's just repeated and unnecessary ones like the Sexposition in GOT that pisses me off.

Expecting a story to be something it is not attempting to be is a sure recipe for disappointment.
Yes, you can send your resume to JAXA/NASA and they'll consider it if they have openings. Mutta's mom sent it under his name, and he has a respectable career history, so it's not a surprise that he was accepted into the selection process.
I don't see Mutta as dumb, just quirky (as we all are to one extent or another), and initially listless due to his midlife crisis. He's charming and sympathetic, though I can see why certain people might not find him so.
The budget isn't especially high, but it's sufficient so far. I actually like the anime character designs a bit better than the manga's.
Have you watched Koe de Oshigoto? For some reason this post reminded me of it.

Funny how a dozen or so glowing impressions on Fate/Zero season 2 has gotten so many people to start the show from scratch.
If someone created an anime recommendation thread and strategically planned it so 10-15 people would recommend School Days, a lot of innocent people would get hurt/trolled.

It wasn't even the season 2 impressions for me. There was a lot of genuine excitement over the first half that I kept seeing that made me curious.
This plan is already sort of in place. at least it was until Gaf dialed it back a bit.

rape scene impressively well (for anime) even if the dude was a top rank solider it was handled in a way that didnt come off super contrived ,like I would expect from anime/manga almost raped scene.

You have no idea how hard this wish will be to fulfill.
She was probably mentally traumatized by that particular incident and thought of nothing but getting the fuck away from there as fast as possible.
