Another part of the problem is that the writing for F/SN is just flat out not as sharp as F/Z. The characters aren't as interesting as their F/Z counterparts. Urobuchi would have to rewrite the entire scenario using HF as a rough outline.

Sounds like they should just remake everything to be as good as Fate/Zero. It would be worth it!

Yes but what are the odds of there being video footage of such a collapse in a minor Japanese city in the 90s? It seems like a pretty closed up place even within Japan honestly.

Is it really that minor of a city? It seems well-sized enough to me. And even if no one recorded it, a lot of people were looking at it at the time it collapsed. Plus there would be plenty of physical evidence of a controlled explosion. But I guess you can always use government conspiracies to cover that up.

Woo finally caught up to fisherman island arc.

So adorable D: Luffy has swag.

Denpa Teki na Kanajo 1-2(END)

Further evidence that my enjoyment of a show is inversely proportional to the number of sane people in it. This needs a full series now, if not yesterday. The ending was ridiculously satisfying.
"I don't really believe in divine retribution. God is pretty lazy, after all. However, every once in a while, he gets the job done."

I want more of it as well.

So what's girl's work even supposed to be about? The site had next to no information.

It was originally a Type Moon VN (first one not written by Nasu) announced along Mahou Tsukai no Yoru and the Tsukihime remake. The story was something about Paris & Shinjuku merging together or something like that. Then they decided to make it into an anime in 2010 (along with Fate/Zero) and no information since.

I don't know how you do that though. The main characters of FS/N are apparently almost all kids, and kids are not capable of the kind of dialogue and fully-formed worldviews present in Fate/Zero. Plus it has by all accounts one of the worst boring harem protagonists in the tedious history of such.

So basically.... no one knows what's its about. :(

Just kill off Shirou and replace him with someone that isn't a dumbass like his original female form.

Bring them back:

Wow, that sure sounds as dumb as all other Type Moon storylines... :(

The story should clearly be told from the perspective of Saber alone! I know nothing about F/SN really, so I can't offer any other input on that.

Aah. Then yes, uncut is most definitely the way to go!

The editing job was quite good.. you wouldn't have noticed anything was missing.. but I like the scene better in uncut form.. as it
has archer comparing saber's facial expression after what Rider told her - to that of a virgin being deflowered on a (his?) bed.. and it was why she drew her sword.. in anger towards Archer.. not the assassins

I don't really know anything about it either, other than what people have said about it. It simply sounds like a less interesting premise than Fate/Zero. The strength of F/Z is that it has a certain gravitas due to virtually all of the characters being mature adults who have strong personal identities and goals that come into conflict with one another. F/SN just sounds like dumb harem crap.

I guess I'll just have to pretend none of this exists.

Saber/Lancer stuff was fun but Rider just steals any scene he's in.
Loved how they've gone on and on about tradition and maintaining anonymity yet Rider lands and just declares who he is without giving a fuck.

Awesome? More like she's a somewhat dumb shoujo haato who happens to have tons of plot armor. Of course, being dumb is excusable as she's only a kid.

This is factually accurate.

It's totally accurate, but I love Rin, so I'm biased! You really have to get used to her, though, because she doesn't grow out of her stubbornness. Out of the three main heroines in FSN, she was certainly the best, if that's saying much at all.

Fate/Zero 11

... so, Grail Dialogue, as the subs put it?
Certainly seemed like it, but I enjoyed it. The uncut version has more talking, so that's fantastic and I should watch that sometime.
But seeing Rider put Saber in her place not once, but twice, was swell.
And, finally, we see what Rider's capable of.

That's because Rider fears no one.

Anime-GAF, been out of the loop for a few years now, and just started watching Naruto Shippuuden (I know right).

I'm not really asking for recommendations, just wanted to know if the Persona 4 anime is worth watching since I played the game for like 12 hours, years ago and stopped. How true is it to the source etc?

It's more slice of life than it is.... gamey.

It's good and then some. Watch it. If you like Persona 4 you will like the anime.

Like I said earlier in this thread, the problem with adapting Heaven's Feel isn't necessarily the sex scenes (that can be written out fairly simply), it's that the very premise of the story is based upon the expectation that the audience already have a very good grasp on the characters introduced, so it can use that knowledge to turn everything upside down. It as a standalone work would be entirely meaningless.

Most of the elements shown in Fate/Zero were first introduced in Heaven's Feel, Gen simply expands upon them significantly.

Am not sure why everyone puts up with these condictions and obediently follow this crazy coward when there being held against there wills, looks pretty easy to take over.

Now then here whatever it's called ep 5

Wtf *face palm*.................
......
if you’re going to go a suicide assassination mission then fucking do it, the guy just killed your friend, was about to kill you but ran out of bullets, he standing right there right in front of you why the fuck would you not do anything/not carry out the mission, better yet you can use him as hostage to try to make it out alive(his there coward ruler after all),beats running to hide in some storage room and picking a useless hostage who no one gives a shit about

To be fair, I haven't watched FSN nor played the VN, but...

Fate/Stay Night turns my determined, adorable adolescent Zecchan from the F/Z specials into a
House lady Dojo teacher!
(though the nickname "Tiger" is cool) This does not increase my interest...

I think the general point is that most people just want a continuity of the Fate/Zero story done in the same quality as the Fate/Zero anime in writing, production values, and direction. Heaven's Feel is thrown around because it's the only route that hasn't been adapted, so using it as a base to attract the most amount of potential fans (both existing F/SN fans and non-F/SN fans) makes snese.

Both of you, thanks for clearing that up. Just hope there's some new music by Meguro in the series.

Does anyone know what happened to the Gintama, Beelzebub and Ao No Exorcist animes? I dont think Gintama's finished, must be on halt for catching up to the manga, but the other two I'm not sure of.

Saki Episode of Side A - 01

Well that was... odd, it felt like they rushed through alot in such a short space of time, the transitions for the significant timeskips were done in such a way I had to figure out that they had actually grown up from elementary school to middle school and suss out when they were in their third year of middle school, overall it's an insignificant gripe me having to fill in the gaps myself but it was a little distracting despite being a minor issue in the grand scheme of things.

Because I'm in a mood to watching all sorts of sports anime, I may as well stick with this and see how they do Mahjong, although my first mahjong experience in anime was Legend of Koizumi so... this is going to be weird. :lol

I wish that was all, still not a fan with some of the design choices (Luffy, and Zoro)

One Piece Timeskip spoils.

So, I know Zoro has one eye blinded all the time now...but does he really have one eye blinded all the time now? Has it affected him negatively (I doubt it, but am curious)? I put the OP anime on hold shortly after the reunion.

I had stuff to do and haven't been paying attention. Is F/Z the next best thing that will change your life forever or has duckroll jinxed it?

F/Z is pretty fucking awesome. Life changing it is not. But it is amazing.

This is really going to be interesting seeing impressions of AO later.

I wonder if I will be suicidal like duckroll or simply accept the changes. Probably the latter.

Just kill off Shirou and replace him with someone that isn't a dumbass like his original female form.

I would be ok with this change. anything to replace Shirou. what a boring character.

Ao no Exorcist finished, though its getting a movie. Beelzebub also stopped. Maybe Ao Ex could return since the arc finally finished this month. (manga)

It hasn't really been brought up in any significant capacity yet/ever.
