The short fights were just silly, but an opening episode can give you such things. Music was eh, transitions were bleh (as with many of these things). Character designs (sans mythical character, Nyaruko) are very boring.

But it's the first " stupid fun" show of the season, I've kinda liked due to some of the humor, so it'll stay for now.

Also, Nyaruko herself is pretty hip.

Nyaruko-san is all about Nyaruko. Fuck Mahiro. Hope he slips and rams his stupid fork through his eye, right into his brain. Nyaruko on the other hand is just awesome, and I now want my very own cute, bloodthirsty, perverted crawling chaos.

Hey, the next episode features combat~ Give it til after that episode to see if it's more your speed. I will not have people dismissing this show offhand JUST because they need to sell DVDs and figures...

I believe there will be a harem, but not really. As far as I understand from skimming the internets,
the harem will consist of three girls, except one of the girls is actually male and the other is a lesbian and wants Nyaruko, not Mahiro.

Random thought: I always read Cwarrior's post in the voice of Dunban. I also think Dunban was real and posted on AnimeGaf, he would be Cwarrior.
For this reason, I will always be partial Cwarrior (unless he changes his avatar :mad: )

Pretty good episode. I kinda forgot that people even had crushes on Sakura, but that's no big deal. I like the mini skits the show does, this time talking about what kind of actor they like, and pretty much forcing Neji to crossdress for someone's amusement.

I watch till I drop, fortunately (or unfortunately) I started playing Disgaea, so I will be absolutely amazed if I don't fall behind on anything and eventually drop them.

No, no, no I actually went into this yesterday, Toei are especially awful at this from beginning and end, take Bodacious Space Pirates for example, the previews can make it look like stuff is happening without spoilering, and sometimes the preview is more entertaining than the episode it's actually portraying.

It doesn't help that a fair number of shows don't stop even after the ED, so it's harder to not look at next episode previews, unless you know for a fact it's Toei.

HAPPY NEWS FROM YEN PRESS:
For those of you who crave more Spice and Wolf novels and want them faster, Yen Press's announcements this morning should have you counting your coins. The publisher has announced this morning on twitter that they have now also licensed volumes 7-9 of the 17 volume light novel series.

Additionally, instead of only releasing two volumes a year, they will be releasing three "going forward," meaning volumes 7-9 will all be out by June of next year. The 6th volume of Spice and Wolf will be released in North America on June 12, 2012.
