I don't understand the junkies who watch everything.
With sites like CR it's pretty easy to check out loads of different stuff at once

If I had to go to 10 different sites to see everything, the amount of stuff I'd be watching would be like a third.

Speaking of mechanical animators, I think I know where most of them are right now...

Zetman 2

Yeah I'm not sure I'll be sticking with this much longer. The pacing is ridiculous, it seems to be moving way to fast for anything to be actually meaningful.

Fate Zero is really good, I don't know anyone couldn't like it. Shit taste would be the only reason

I don't dislike the show, but I have yet to really get into it. I didn't like the first episode so I'm only trying to hop on the hype bandwagon at the moment, but after the second episode I think my main issue with it is that I don't really like any of the characters. I think the only ones I'm supposed to actively "like" are Kiritsugu and co, but they're not anywhere near as interesting as, say, Ryuunosuke and Caster.

I got enjoyment out of it on a "technical" level - the dialogue is genuinely well written, a surprise in a genre work like this let alone in anime, and it goes without saying that it's nice to look at even if this isn't the particular brand of animation that I really like - but it's yet to engage me on an emotional level. I want to care about the characters more, but I suppose that could come in time.

Will watch at least eps 2

Sankarea
Upotte
Acchi Kocchi
Kuroko's Basketball
Space Bros
Sankarea
Polar Bear Cafe
Lupin

Will keep watching

HunterXHunter
Aquarion Evol
Phi Brain
Moretsu Pirates
KorewazombieDesuka?

What else is there in the next few weeks that looks cool? Eureka 7?

Pfft that isn't anything now.

Yeah, but does she also still look cute covered in blood, after breaking a skull with a crowbar? Because that's Nyaruko's second favorite pastime activity (after being a hopeless pervert). She also seems to considers killing shit morning exercise. Doesn't get much cuter than that.

You need to watch more. You won't start caring about anyone until Rider gets his time to shine.

No, that would be misrepresenting the work. Keep watching, and you'll see that the writing is not biased towards forcing the audience to "like" or "dislike" certain characters. They are simply presented as very different individuals each having their own personalities and goals, and it is up to you who you like more or less, based on what sort of characters you like. Not liking a character does not hinder my enjoyment of the show either. I'm confident you will see the light!

Man those E7:AO pictures depress me, because they actually you know, look good! but I know the actual show won't be.;__;

Agreed

Caster is insanely effed up, but I think he's one of the best characters in the show. Not likeable, but awesome.

Fate/Zero 01:

I'll give this one or two more episodes, but so far this is totally not my thing. So far the characters are bastards, and one scene in particular just rubbed me ever so wrong. Some people are impressed by shock value; I'm not one of those people.

You may end up being very good in the end... but you've left me with a VERY poor impression, Fate/Zero.

1. The first episode is the worst
2. You aren't really supposed to like the characters - or at least, they aren't likeable
3. You should have chosen Sailor Moon or Heartcatch!

The first episode lacks Rider.

Nyaruko-san is all about Nyaruko. Fuck Mahiro. Hope he slips and rams his stupid fork through his eye, right into his brain. Nyaruko on the other hand is just awesome, and I now want my very own cute, bloodthirsty, perverted crawling chaos.
Mahiro is awesome. I can't decide if he'd be the metagaming investigator who brings large amounts of dynamite everywhere he goes, or if he'd be the one who goes crazy and kills all the other investigators out of paranoia.

Most people weren't excited by the first episode, for what it's worth. I dropped the show after 15 minutes, only to pick it back up due to the positive impressions of the second episode. Now I love it. The addition of the Servants into the mix helps a lot.
