Kanba actually knowing and having past history with the woman was actually rather compelling and makes his subplot way more interesting that project m, ringo, and shouma. I almost thought Sho was gonna drink that frog potion there and ringo having feelings for him...did not want.

I missed virtually every single joke so it was one of the worst episodes. I did like the ones with Sasahara and the vending machine.

Phantom: Requiem for the Phantom 9 + 10

Zwei was looking a bit more cool then usual and actually
showed sincere joy and concer then turned it around to looking crazy yet somehow epic when he was on the hunt for the master, stunning ending there that leaves me shocked on where the anime goes next.

just get together already? I was quite frustrated by the end there, fortunately Souma never fails to deliver comedy even if at the enjoyment of Satou.

I can't tell if it's a problem I have that I can't really find an issue with what you posted, or if it's an issue they have that they find it weird.

I mean basically what it is is making fun of high-tier fighting game discussion or anything else that requires a high level mix of knowledge, slang and being relatively comfortable with the people you're conversing with. It's like dipping into any group's private correspondence and presenting it without context. Of course it sounds stupid presented outside of the setting it was actually presented in.

Well, whatever. No skin off my back.

Anyone here still watching Zetman? I'm getting the new Jormungund now, I've also been watching this anime called Baccano! which I'm really enjoying.

Most recently, Mirai Nikki. I got them too, for a 48 episode outer space adventure murder mystery anime.

In case anyone will be in Tokyo around June to July, they will be showing Revolutionary Girl Utena Adolescence Apocalypse in the Bakuon Film Festival in Tokyo. It was the number 1 most requested movie so they added it.

Anyone here still watching Zetman? I'm getting the new Jormungund now, I've also been watching this anime called Baccano! which I'm really enjoying.

I dropped Zetman after it became clear that the anime was going to be way too rushed for me to care about the story or characters at all. I might read the manga eventually, since the basic concept does intrigue me.

I'll be honest though, I'm really not enjoying jormungand as much as I thought I would. I like the style and the genre but I just can't get behind the characters, and the pacing is just too slow for me.

I dropped Zetman after it became clear that the anime was going to be way too rushed for me to care about the story or characters at all. I might read the manga eventually, since the basic concept does intrigue me.

The manga is better. But I like the series even though its super fast, I guess that's because I already know whats going on and I just want it to get to the good stuff.
 
Lupin the 3rd: The Woman Called Fujiko Mine 2:
Man, this show looks hot as hell. The visuals are just out of this world. It was kind of weird seeing Jigen's eyes so many times (comparatively) in this episode, though. I liked seeing a different side to Jigen's character, and I think they did a good job at fleshing him out. The flashbacks told most of the story, and Fujiko was really just there to set things in motion. The direction and music helped the emotional moments hit all the right notes, and although there was nothing shocking in the episode, the turns in the story were all executed perfectly.

In short, awesome show remains awesome.

Maybe if you combine every sakuga episode from every filler arc that Bleach ever had it might add up to half a good filler arc, but half an arc as in contiguous episodes from a single arc? That's mighty generous.

More and more it looks like I should pick this show up.

It's pretty amazing. This whole season is so stacked that it feels premature for me to even really wonder about which show is actually the best. There are just so many great shows airing at the moment (and a lot of stuff which could be amazing).
 
Mysterious Girlfriend X 2

This is a pretty classy show for how perverted it is. The framing device of having friends discussing relationship problems at the vending machines hit pretty close to home for me. this show has a way of seeming very real and genuine even when it goes to weird and interesting places with its subject matter.
 
Zetman 3

I think it was a good and enjoyable episode. I dont think they have established an actual antagonist yet, unless
Amagi corp dude is actually going to betray Zet, or that other group that appeared in episode one after Jin's fight are antagonists form him. Though then where does the other dude, Jin's friend fit in to this? I feel a bit disappointed that the op or ed shows the red zet they mentioned in the episode, hope Jin gets it fast. Lastly confused on auntie, why cant he see her, and is that the real one?

Also finally got back caught up on naruto shippuden and bleach dub, and like the hard box thing funimation did with Legend of the Legendary Heroes, which hope to watch this week, pray its good.

This was certainly an improvement over the first episode mostly due to the lack of the poorly directed action scenes and the far less visually offensive use of CG. Hopefully they can keep it up.

Yeah, but, the architecture porn, like everything else in the movie, is cranked up to 11 compared to the tv series:

Yeah I know but I mean the whole Utena project was just incredible to begin with. you cant really just pinpoint one remarkable thing about it. The whole show is legendary.
the movie somehow took all of what was thought to be the epitome of amazing AND UPPED THE FUCKING ANTE.

This was alright I guess. Bebop does stuffs, it looks pretty. This must have had a pretty big budget, all them nice shiny explosions. Futanari out of nowhere as well.

Dub voice for her is amazing, one of the few dub voices that manages to nail that "anime" feel without hurting my ears.

Yeah, 6 episodes to go, then I'll finally be done with My Little Bebop!

The hardest thing about long-distance podcasts is that with everyone disconnected, it's very easy for people to accidentally talk over each other, due to loss of body language. I never really mastered that.

I am pretty sure that they have software now where people flag up when they're speaking so that other people don't interrupt/talk over each other too much.
