Basically, if you don't know what it was supposed to look like, you can often tell purely because the character proportions look wrong.
So, what about shows with CLAMP character designs?

That Student Council President's totally a girl.
So, what about shows with CLAMP character designs?
You can not actually believe that.
Sure it does. A loli is a young girl. If you attach something else/more to the word loli, that's on you, not on the word.

Lolicon also clearly comes from Lolita.

Well, the other day I was talking to /XX/ about the laserdisc release of Down Load - Namiamidabutsu wa Ai no Uta. But that did come out on VHG (gross)
Honō no Tenkōsei
Master Mosquiton '99
Twilight of the Cockroaches
Wanna-Be's
That's all I can remember off the top of my head, but I have a list at home with a few more.

Ha! I still remember when I first saw that shot (in Blood-C). Had to do a double take.

The OVAs are shit.Kurenai (2008)
I finally decided to watch the anime version over the weekend after reading the manga for so many years. I was a little disappointed with the tone the director decided to use for this anime adaptation. It's too seriously dark! It had its cute moments but not enough compared to the manga. Overall, this show left me slightly dissatisfied. I want a Kurenai anime reboot,
Which is cuter though?
I assume there's a word for the otaku obsession of categorizing and labelling everything.
No contest with Yayoi and her "pika pika pikarin"
I thought otaku's were OCD by nature.

There is another thing worth noting about that type of releases, and that is those legendary LaserDisc sets (LD-BOX) that were launched mainly at the time of highest popularity for the format... like the beautiful Neon Genesis Evangelion Theatrical or Theatre BOX (新世紀エヴァンゲリオン劇場版BOX):There are so many OVAs and Movies that I just want to be released in any format besides LaserDisc.

Those even included differences never seen again on posterior releases (not even as extras), and of course also had exclusive illustrations for those big and gorgeous jackets (with designs of Norihiko Nezu's influence). As expected of an avid LD collector like Mr. Anno.

Fahl-con...!uppercut
Brain Blast
That's a badass quickshot, props to the storyboard
Kuroko's Basket 2
Second episode was mostly good visually, though I feel they cheapened out during the basketball play part, at least initially. Still I keep loving the way shadows look on the characters and the plot is moving fast enough, which means some games should be starting coming soon.
Why would you want to own Twilight of the Cockroaches, though? Talking poo in HD?
How rare are those LDs? Surely you should be able to find them on YAJ..

LDs were something from the future.
DVD quality in the 80s and there were even HD-LDs with 1080i content.

According to the video description, it's some aspiring filmmakers' demo to market themselves to movie execs. Not even a peep about the blatant Eva imagery.while we're (sort of) on the subject of NGE, anyone want to explain to me just what the hell this is?

Just noticed that, but I wasn't sure if the uploader is responsible for all the tags or if viewers can add them. There's also "Jello Time" in there. It is tagged with "Neon Genesis Evangelion" and "Evangelion".
