Leona is breaking down the borders of masculinity, and this episode reminds me that he's a lot like Otoha from Rainbow Live. They're the demure, passive members of the rival teams that nonetheless have nerves of goddamn steel. When Bell was doubting herself and Wakana was lost in her mind? Otoha took some time off, joined Prism Stone for a while, and came back to prove herself worthy, being the first member of Bell Rose to earn her sax, which was beautiful. And by the end of the season, she made sure you would be marchen-like, and put your heart and soul into it.
So tells a similar story in this episode. The latest mind game by the devil and angel isn't nearly as complicated as their previous ones. Say that Dorothy and Shion have joined their team to the other party, sowing seeds of distrust. Leona, who always says "I agree with Dorothy", was worried sick. Empathetic, sympathetic, compassionate - and was going to do a solo performance to send the word that he wanted his friends back, even if his leg was hurting. You catch more flies with honey than with vinegar, he knows that, and someone so emotional, so invested in their friendships, so breaking of society's gender expectations - "badass" isn't the word you'd use to describe Leona, but it isn't the one you need to. I did like seeing Iroha again, and the outfits that Shion and Dorothy reverted to when they thought they were going solo - a go-themed samurai and a colorful ninja that makes Starninger look positively restrained - provided some nice humor. Some more barriers are being broken down the plot front, too. Rabbit and Bear know they were duped, but are still captives of love.

What a great, poetic conclusion. Arjuna, this is how you do a pro-nature show without being heavy handed.
Not much to say about this season other than it was a pitch perfect sister to the first season, which was already this slow, gorgeous, poetic work of art. And this fits that bill flawlessly.
Gotta watch the special next.

This was a weird episode but the bonding time between Leonard and Nej was kind of sweet. I REALLY wish Japan would stop drawing Black people like that though. Like its 2015, you can do better.

Gonna stop here, since like everyone has said, the last episodes need to be watched in succession for the full impact, and it's getting late. So
I'm seriously hoping I don't get fucked over right now, because if anything radical happens, I don't know what I will do. Too many happy events at once, with too many episodes left to go. I don't like this one bit. GAF you make me overcautious, and nervous watching this lmfao.

Yes, and your going to find out soon why when the best character arrives, rejoice! The show is a trainwreck, but it is so damn entertaining! Definitely worth the watch.

You know, this show is actually pretty entertaining beyond cute girls doing cute things. Shingancrimsonz dudes are hilarious and I'd like to see more of them.

I'm really liking this adaptation mostly cause it is giving the overall series a loose plot line to follow which differs from the manga that jumps from new story to new story.
While we do lose some parts of each story, such as introduction to Hummer and why we are introduced to him in the first place or the whole thing about the train monster itself, the overall feel of having something that ties these together does make this enjoyable.
I will admit I'm kinda disappointed they are skipping some stories I did enjoy from the manga such as Steven's dinner party and Gilbert's rescuing story, I am looking forward to seeing how they adapt the further stories.

I will assume nothing positive about the adaption until I see the first episode.
I don't think Zapp or Hummer are "Black" (I'm basing this more on facial features and hair rather than skin color since the former are much less ambiguous) but I admit they are kind of ambiguous and very "anime"-esque (in the way many clearly Japanese anime characters don't look Japanese to a Western perspective) in their designs. I was talking about the delivery co-driver who was wailing on Nej in the episode. I kind of understand why they do that super weird lip thing but in the worst case its down right racist and in the best case (which this probably falls under), it looks stupid as all hell. Like no Western artist could pull that off without getting blasted and they already have "normal" looking Black people on the show (like that cashier at the burger place - though we never saw the entirety of her face.......

It wouldn't surprise me if they go back to earlier chapters, but there's a great deal of material for them to adapt. There's 10 volumes of manga that's out right now and they shown that they aren't necessarily adapting it one to one.

She's that girl in a suit that stands on lampposts sometimes.
She doesn't have a stand-out presence in any episode so far. The most she's actively done on-screen is run really fast from point A to B on the cityscape, possibly carrying things/people, while maybe talking on the phone.
