Had to keep pausing the video to make sure I was watching the second season. Didnt expect it to fully go over the Yakushi v Seido game. But at least there was more Raichi laughing, and Kawakami pitching.
Guess next week will also be fully recap except with glorious Mei and more Kawakami.

to be clear FORCE was removed from the nanoha continuity. it just doesn't exist. and everyone pretends it never existed.
Also Fate and Nanoha are not friends lol.
Friends don't adaopt a daughter together, friends don't sleep on the same bed.
Fate is clearly the tsundere dad ( ahem mama ) , while nanoha plays the earnest mama.

This weird Tenma guy has been hogging significant amounts of screen time for good 5 episodes now. It's almost as if he was the main protagonist of the show ! And the story actually moved forward a bit. What is this show I'm watching because it sure as hell isn't the Monster I know !

As I understand it the whole friends thing is because this is a world of no hugging and no kissing, which is why I find their relationship infuriating since you can't really double down on the coded bullshit while having one of the most progressive families in all of fiction.

Chrono would make a great businessman, he could have ran the stall on his own (Though his skills with customers are pretty ). I always love how he gets to take part in these things only because he cant turn things down. He was even not willing to do it until Tokoha tricked him :/

It justifies itself within the world because both nanoha and fate are public figures. ( military public figures Even ! ) with their child having very close ties to the mid-childa church ( another very important power figure) .
I mean, all their friends are aware of it , but i don't know if mariage with the same sex is even possible in that society. ( I mean chrono got married just fine , so it's not like they are against mariage at all in that universe of the concept doesn't exist )

Started to get back into anime by watching the ones on Netflix, Animelab and subbing to Funimation.
So... why did The Devil is a Part-Timer not get a second season? Not enough people watching it? I felt the end wasn't as good as the start but it still seemed pretty damn great.
Also old Suzumiya Haruhi seasons. Are they just not available to stream anywhere?

Not everything has to get a second season swiftly after airing. The novels rose from it, perhaps an s2 could eventually happen, or one could read it.

Deeper and deeper into the abyss. I mean, I get the premise somehow, but duel, after duel, after duel all with alternative outcomes, just plain weird. You would hope there would be more character developement and story building, but tuly even into the second season, you are still clueless on the world around you for the most part...

The Persian theme is pretty compelling, but the main character is already becoming grating. Maybe the upcoming tragedy will change him enough to make him less of an annoyance.

It was slowly building for the past couple of years, but it reached critical mass in 2014 (aka Year of the Yuri). Anime hasn't really been the same since then.

Anyone have a decent streaming site where I can watch Yu Gi Oh 5D's in Japanese, streamed? All I can find is the dub streamed which I assume has the fun stuff cut out, and an amazingly large torrent I don't want to download.

I just finished watching the BRD of this movie and at the end I could only think that it was a beautiful movie. Also a sad, sad movie. My eyes started wetting up toward the end, but it's during the credits that I cried some.
It wasn't a perfect movie as it was a bit too slow in some parts, but it managed to convey the feeling of a dream, the feeling of love, the feeling of happiness and the bitter feeling of loss and sadness, so that makes it a beautiful movie and a great experience for me.

I think that's one of Monster's greatest strengths, it's ensemble cast, and it's willing to give the spotlight to someone other than Tenma and Nina. IMO, they aren't compelling enough to carry the entire series on their backs, so it works well.

Yes. It was one of the first in the format and I still think its one of the most effective. The cute girls did cute things but it all felt more like it had purpose.
Chuuni starts off strong but falls apart halfway and season 2 does it no more favors. however it is still worth completing I think.
Its kinda weird setup where sometimes only a part of the song is licensed for anime use and the full song is entirely off limits. Like owning an official OST still doesnt net you an entire song but the "OP/ED length version". Also sometimes you end up losing entire things, like Katyusha

I cant help but feeling like the anime OST market in the US was mismanaged from the get-go. I do have several albums. I dont have the NOIR ones , which I deeply regret not being able to find.
