Not only teekyu is back, not only a spin off arrived with it, it also got renewed for 5th season.

God confirmed a teekyuu fan. Praise the Lord!

I think having a world where a private company has the authority to forcibly enter a citizen's place of residence to take back their loaned equipment would really distract from whatever they're trying to present so far. They have enough controversial elements to manage.

Tytania was written by the same person and that didn't stop it being a terrible series. Just because one series was fantastic doesn't mean that everything else will be.

Fate/Zero 25

Congratulations Kiritsugu. You always were a lousy hero. Such an anticlimactic way for Saber to go out. She didn't even get the chance to lose properly to Archer. Kariya lasted a bit longer than I thought. Sakura has no pity. Broken girl. So Kirei is now a zombie/vampire thing. I'll call it even between the two of them, considering the Grail's interference. Gilgamesh shall forever be amused. There's Shirou. Lucky boy. Waver is the only one who came out better from this. Aside from maybe Gilgamesh. Waver was at least smart enough to not get too involved anymore as far as I know. So Aoi kind of survived. Kirei enjoys making Rin cry. I can see why she hates him in the future. Lancelot threw the fight against Arturia? Okay, that kind of makes sense of that battle. She'll get another shot at least. With someone no less irritating. Shirou really shouldn't be looking up to his dad. And in a sense, he didn't. So yay? Ilya is still screwed, but not much can be done about that. Kiritsugu may not be able to be a champion of justice, but he can at least raise a nice kid. Dumb, but nice.

Well, that was fun. Dark and twisted, with lots of good action. Much better than the first Fate/stay Night, though that's to be expected considering Urobuchi. Most characters were decent, or at least fulfilled their roles well. Kirei was the star. I'm not sure why, but Archer was right when he said Kirei was fascinating. I don't quite get why, and Kirei sort of lost his flare eventually. Waver and Rider were also great. I got more invested in their growth than I expected. I suppose it's because it was the only somewhat positive story of the lot. Saber was okay. Not horrible, but never that compelling a character. Irisviel was fun. Better than her daughter at least. Kiritsugu never clicked for some reason. It's not that he's a dick, or that he kills a lot of people. He's just got no charisma.

Good show. I need to get back to dark, action packed anime. I've been watching too many fluffy slice of life and positive/upbeat shows. Something bleak is good once in awhile. But mostly I learned that Urobuchi needs to get back to writing anime/light novels that get turned into anime. I know he's busy, and the rest of the industry loves his napkin scribbles, but he's good at what he does. Well, I'm sure he'll continue to do what he does best, no matter the medium.

The words to say are lost on me for this. It's cute, it's adorable, it's overloaded with so much cute it made me giddy, I love it. Art is amazing and I can't wait for the next episode, wonder how the story will progress. Might watch it again.

Finally got round to watching it all. The show definitely grew on me. Ange is a great character who holds it all together, some weird turns though.

I suppose the fact Tusk got stabbed didn't dampen the mood of victory

I don't think so, that'd be rather tame, especially with how the first episode was. I think she'll be living in two different worlds now.

Despite the hate it gets for being very sloppy
such an appropriate word in reference to these lovely ladies
the show was a crazy and entertaining ride regardless.

Man, 2+ more hours before I get to watch this "bathroom/toothbrush" scene... the wait is eating at my soul..

One thing I forgot to mention about Fate/Zero that I liked. It actually took advantage of the fact that there's all these past heroes. Maybe the visual novel or UBW did it better, but the first anime didn't actually do much with the Servants as past heroes. It just gave them a bit of backstory and a few recognizable names. Just window dressing. In Fate/Zero they were used to get interesting perspectives on what really happened in the past. It also led to some interesting conversations on chivalry and what it means to be a king. There even managed to be some connection between some of the Servants. It handled the actual premise of the franchise much better.

This is going to be a good season for megane.

There were a few jokes and references to Haruhi and I'm not sure I like the animation style yet compared to Haruhi but otherwise a decent episode.

Or was it because Kariya couldn't hold on anymore? The Grail has an interesting way of accepting wishes. And it does show the problem with Kiritsugu's method. It may hold true on a micro level, but on a global scale you would have to kill far more people than you'd save to ensure peace. So Kiritsugu beats Kirei because the Grail favors him. Which mostly ends up proving that Kirei is just one tough bastard. Archer is still more dangerous though, and he really can't lose at this stage.
Unless the Grail itself is lost. Whoops. Saber has lousy luck this round.

Btw, the music from Bakemonogatari is far superior to it's predecessor. I missed the closing tune right away at the end of Nisemonogatari ep.1

Having just seen the movie, I found this Nagato a bit jarring. Much less shy and more assertive than the alt version from the movie. But I guess that was needed to have her suitable for a MC.
