My wife was disappointing that Koharun and Valkana didn't have sex. In the woods. Despite this never happening in any series which we watch (which is every thing popular every season).

Koito, I MEAN, Yukina's Piccolo Armor 06

Yukina can definitely throw down and TKO Mikasa with ease. Good God, she probably does pullups all day just to be a train engineer specialist.

As mentioned, everyone on Twitter were all talking about Suzuki-san. I really hope he doesn't die because he's the narrator. "HURRY UP!" "FIGHT!" I hope that "FIGHT" is the same tone as in King of FIghters XIV.

They finally get out of that station while eliminating the fake Titan, and glad that Mumei didn't stay emo for long. From the looks of the preview, it looks like it'll have a break in the action at their destination, which I think is really needed. Can't be all wound up the entire time IMO.

By Sawano standards, this OST is really good at the quiet parts or the parts where the drums and orchestra aren't blaring. It gives an eerie feel of the surroundings more than the quiet parts of the Titan OST did.

Your wife has interesting takes, lol

Hundred 1

I think I've made a huge mistake.

Hundred 3

20 minutes of low-budget, dull (if pretty), nauseatingly overlong action scenes punctuated by dull exposition and then ending on more accidental boob-grabbing/kissing please someone kill me.

I seriously have a new-found appreciation of Infinite Stratos after this. At least that show, as terrible as it was, gave the faint impression that the hack who wrote it put at least some effort and care into establishing a unique setting. This show is fascinating, in that it almost feels like an inside joke by the people involved but you know it isn't.

And the worst part is, I know dang well I'm going to finish this because I have terrible, terrible judgment and self-control.

There are probably a hundred better things you could do with your time.

Re: Zero 4

I approve of the twins.

But the loli is bad.

And nice twist at the ending of the episode.

You're crazy.
She's pretty much the best of the new characters and has the best chemistry with Subaru.

Though I can understand you're feeling, She doesn't make the best impression in episode 4

Kuromukuro 07

These are some of the most bland aliens in the history of aliens.

Mayoiga 08

People falling down the, literally out of nowhere, cliffs is the best running joke in this series. Sometimes they don't even need a cliff to suddenly stumble and roll 20 meters.

Lost (JP Anime) - Episode 8

Direction is pretty iffy as usual. Character scenes are done in a very boring and plain way. The writing feels pretty plain too, given the OMG CLIFFHANGER from last week. Not a fan of the ongoing "mistrust" drama. The preview looks like things might totally go off the rails next week... so.... hopefully!

Attack on Train - Episode 6

This is just boring now. It's not even a trainwreck or anything, just... slow paced boring predictable stuff with bad characters and some action bookends every week. Meh. Might drop in a week or two if it doesn't pick up, and watch the rest of the action on the sakuga booru.

Kill Me Baby ep.3
This show personifies "episodic." Basically, this episode was three shorts built into and episode, lol. Sonya and Yas definitely have some funny back and forth, but the show is very linear and slow.

Kuromukuro - Episode 7

That was very enjoyable. The character direction was spot on, and I found the way it handled the aftermath of episode 6 pretty emotional. Characters don't overreact for the sake of drama, but they also don't hold it in like robots. There's also the matter that it seems the two gungho dumbasses who were spectating the fight might have created real consequences for the school dynamic. It's suddenly not so casual and fun anymore in tone. I hope they didn't actually die, but that seems a bit heavy for the sort of show this is, but I really felt the way the characters are acting after the fight to be more realistic and relatable than usual. Good character writing imo.

The emotions of Yukina and Kennosuke are also being handled with more delicacy and weight than I expected. When Yukina finally decided to break down and talk shit to her mom, I was really hoping that she would get slapped because she was being so unreasonable. When she did, and it turned out to be worse for everyone involved because they didn't get a change to talk things through, it also showcased how fragile such relationships can be.

I'm back for another round of recommendations, specifically for a slice-of-life which is fairly realistic and also pretty chill. I really enjoy good animation.

I really liked Barakamon and Silver Spoon. And before duckroll recommends it-- I didn't like that anime about making anime (forgot the name, I watched 3-4 episodes of it), I also didn't like Hyouka (which is a shame because its visuals are amazing).

I tried Your Lie in April, and didn't really get hooked on it despite liking the visuals and classical music-- I guess mostly because the characters were lame and trite. I only watched like three episodes, is there any point in attempting to continue? From what I recall there's some twist later on (I'm betting the violin girl gets cancer or something), does it get significantly better?

Edit: also i hate moe trash

If you like chill SOL definitely check out FLYING WITCH.

Second Flying Witch. Maybe try Non Non Biyori(looks like moe stuff but isn't really) or Usagi Drop. Or Kawai Complex. Or Aria the Animation(that borders on moe stuff at times admittedly but its still really good.)

As for Your Lie in April, if you don't like it now id say drop it. It kind of peaks half way through and i don't think youll like the characters any more as the show progresses.

Gundam the Origin IV will be released this Fall, and will conclude the Char & Sayla Arc.

But it's not over! Today they have confirmed that they are going to continue the project with production of the Battle of Loum arc. Still prequel wankery though. I guess after that, if they feel they have the resources, they might actually attempt to do a full series of Origin? Since after that it would go into the actual Gundam storyline.

Sakamoto | 6

This has run its course. Dropped.

JoJo IV | 8

Please bring back the other opening song. It's pretty good but I miss the more shonen nature of Stardust Crusaders.

Sakamoto Ep 6

Yes the kids were so good today with the kicking the rock & walking the line stuff. Was my 2nd/3rd favorite from the manga

Rinne s2 Ep 32

I wanted more Shouma, though he did look so happy with Masato onii-san.

Kuromukuro 6-7

MC is about to get real fucking annoying with this. "I don't want to fight." shit.

ConRevo 20

Jiro is a fucking idiot for trying to protect someone who just fully enjoyed the murder of innocents I really hope he dies by the hand of a superhuman he's trying to protect by the end of this show. That would be poetic justice and I'm sure he could appreciate the irony as he dies.

Luluco 08

Trigger da best studio of the season.

Ace Attorney 8

Ep feels like the show hit the low end of "good" status finally and something far more in line with what fans were expecting after the disappointing start. Characters are expanded with the little bits of interaction before and during the investigation which makes the show feel like an actual adaptation instead of the 1:1 game nonsense early on. Couple this with some creative visual direction (that may not always succeed but at least they tried) and we're getting somewhere.

This might be the end of the upward swing though as I imagine the next ep will be a test. It lookeed really rough in the preview but it's going to live or die on how oppressive Karuma is in his presentation in the courtroom.
