^It's under TV shows on anichart and I'm pretty sure it's been marketed as such from the beginnng.

By the way summer has this little nugget:

Onara Gorou
Onara Gorou follows the everyday life of Gorou, the "most admirable of farts," as he solves problems in ways that only a fart can.

Anime is finally saved.

Edit: Wait this sounds less disturbing without the pic ...

E2: Here you go.

Skipping Summer to Autumn lol why would you do that.

Summer seems like sol heaven with Handa-kun, Sweetness and Lightning, and etc. That's not even counting the long awaited D.Gray-Man I've been waiting for. Although I'm confused on how they're going to adapt Rewrite.

Anyway Summer seems fine.

Edit:I also forgot Orange.

There is no point for me looking at a seasonal chart before the start of a season since I'm going to watch all of them anyway.
Probably only episode 1 for most of them, though.

Oh man I forgot Danganronpa 3 is coming.

It's going to be atrocious, I have accepted this as fact. Another Episode destroyed the series plot. Thank god the games a reboot.

it totally won't be a reboot, they're tricking us

For the summer season, I'm mostly looking forward to Mob Psycho. Soma and Orange to a lesser extent too. And that's it. I'll probably watch more shows, as it's usually the stuff I didn't expect that surprises me the most, but it's pretty underwhelming. Mob Psycho may prove to be really good and very enjoyable but it's not enough to carry the season.

Excited
Prisma Illya
My Wife is the Student Council
Masou Gakuen HxH

Watch to ridicule
Rewrite
Planetarian
Regalia
RS Keikaku

Will most definitely drop
Ange Vierge
Taboo Tattoo

I'm looking forward to Regalia in the summer because screw it you know why:

-Looks super

How's New Game compared to Shirobako or Sore ga Seiyuu? More slice of life or does it have believable stuff about the game industry?

Much more slice of life, there are instances of more believable situations (like the painful task of debugging, or announcing your game at a game convention when the game's existence got leaked a week prior). If your looking for the real dirty reality of the game industry in Japan, this won't scratch that itch. Its quite enjoyable for what it is, but its never going too real/dark.

DR3 is a direct sequel to 2 and V3 (the game) isn't a reboot.

And I don't see how UDG destroyed the series plot, its rather unconnected aside from Monoka. If anything DR2 fucked it all up, but I liked that a lot

Re:Zero

Looking forward to:
Active Raid S2

Nejimaki Seirei Senki: Alderamin of the Sky
Saiki
Soma S2

And will check out anything else that looks like it could be interesting,

V3 isn't connected, right? Like, it's a different continuity? I heard that being thrown around a lot early in but maybe I'm wrong.

As for UDG, it fucked it up by actually showing the
post apocalyptic world, which was always something mysterious. The games always told you the world was destroyed, but you never actually saw it. The ending of the first game leaves you wondering whether or not that was the truth, and whilst the second goes further in cementing it you still never actually see it for yourself.

UDG decided that the world apparently still works in some places kind of? And that this 16 year old girl messed things up so bad that earth is now uninhabitable. And that mecha are a thing that exist, despite the fact that their appearance in 2 was a hint that it wasn't the real world. The external world of Danganronpa was a great mystery before UDG because it made no sense to be true but it very likely was. It fit nicely with the theme of hope and despair, as you can do nothing but hope that you were being lied to. UDG just takes this idea, throws it in the trash, and decides Dangabronpa is Sci-Fi now, something it was never and should never have been.

Plus I'm pissed that Naegis sister didn't end up becoming the new Ultimate Despair, but that's more of a personal grievance as it would have set up a great test for him to overcome.

So I guess that's why I think Danganronpa 3 is going to be a trainwreck? I think that was why I went on this rant?

The anime 91 Days that's airing in Summer seems really interesting.

Here's the synopsis

The time is 1920, five years after National Prohibition Law took place at a city called Lorel in the United States. Main character Avolio arrives to join the Vampiro family mafia undercover in order to seek revenge of killers who killed his parents and brother in this mafia. A Killing starts kills. Revenge starts new revenge. A story of vengeance and sorrow starts now.

The staff seems pretty good as well. I guess I'm on board.

Black Bullet episode 3

Still not bad. Still quite enjoyable.

The dialogue is still slightly marred by heavy handed exposition, but otherwise its still pretty okay.

Honestly, I'm not seeing any major thing in this show that is "bad".

still early though.

But for now, i'm intrigued and enjoying it. Probably won't chime in on impressions until i'm done.

There is something salvageable for the first few episodes of BB, that stops being case around half way through.

so its been one year since i started this anime watching thing and last month i decided to start watching Neon Genesis Evangelion, since it's pretty divisive and all

i finished it today:
What just happened? i watched the last 3 episodes in a row, but i don't think i got what the something instrumentality project was, and i think i was supposed to understand that

also:
actually i don't think i got the point of the ending, feeling really stupid now

Watch the End of Evangelion movie for an alternate, perhaps more traditional take on the ending.

With all the talks of bears and cafes I wanted this to turn into a Shirokuma Cafe crossover episode ha. Ghost girl was a pretty good substitute, even with that freaky mask at the end.

We're always here old friend, welcome back. I feel like the connoisseur in you is going to love Kiznaiver. It is THE SHOW this season. Apparently Luluco, which is another Trigger production is also great, but I haven't watched it yet.

Thanks, I'll get to it when I get the chance, sounds interesting. I'm actually not going to watch anything tonight, go figure. Going to go out shopping tomorrow which means lots of walking so tomorrow night might be a good time to put my feet up and relax :p
