Neither you nor midgenrefresh said anything wrong whatsoever in this thread. So I think the recent discourse is unfortunate *Watch out, you are not allowed to have an opinion regarding Starfield lol
Doesn't even matter if you state you like really anything in Star Citizen , you basically need to be bashing one to death lol

*(but I guess not unexpected considering SC supporters have been treated condescendingly for years (and even enabled by some odd mods)).
Sorry for talking about previous topic, but I disagree with what you said. Yes interiors are great in Starfield but you saying that every ship is different and that what I'm completely disagree- to me they are all in the same style, with variations. And they are useless because you can't fly them which is different problem but just adds upon it.I mean, I get that.
Even as a backer of this game, I still like the design of both games and i think as someone that loves Sci-fi, I feel simply talking about the designs of the ships and suits is a solid common ground. I do like one more in terms of looks, but its also subjective. Its clear Starfield took a lot of inspiration from Aliens films and 2001 Space Odyssey etc in terms of the older ship designs that mirror what many thought spaceships would be like in the 1970s, 1980s etc and I'm sure we'll actually see a lot of that in Star Citizen too as they have a lot of variety already with the brands that sell ships in the game.
Nah man, you need help.
Even stating a fucking subjective opinion about this game is triggering you.
You can sleep in the beds, sit in the chairs, the very table in that screenshot is used as the star map, where the fuck did you hear it was "non interactable"? I mean shit, I get you like another game more, nothing in any of my statements is arguing the ship has more function then in Star Citizen.
This is merely something you are arguing when nothing in any of those statements is debating that...
So this whole
is completely false.
Not to the same degree as Star Citizen, sure...but to say pointless and no interactible is factually incorrect. Many things on that ship you interact with. I get you like another game more, but holy shit man relax with the hyperbole.
Who the fuck is saying it is? lol
I'm sorry man, you 2 basically are getting triggered for no fucking reason.
Nothing is wrong with liking one design over another, I say that in the very post you are crying over, but an exaggeration of claiming
Is just a bit too silly for my taste.
You can do enough with the ship to very much support that you "can do something with them"
Enough interaction exist, where I simply cannot support a false statement like "non interactible"
Its a difference of saying one has more, to one has none.
This is just too fucking hyperbolic and exaggerative.
We got to give you the good ole ignore man lol
nothing is that serious to be making up some weird shit like this lol
good luck.
(not everyone with an opinion is trying to fucking fight you folks)
why do you guys still believe this lieing company?
I urge everyone to watch this documentary to see how awful the people behind this game are exploiting people:
there is even a science paper written on it "selling dreams via star citizen"

i got way more:smh, well for the most part, this is why this is a deep wait and see for many of us. Until they actually complete this title, its hard to get hype for something that spent many generations hyping.
Cool screenshots but still, suits in Starfield are a) better designed (maybe I just like the aesthetic better) and b) more detailed.
I believe that with medical you unlock crafting stations for your ship. Almost every module adds something. Crafting station, bed, navigation console, storage / display, more room for crew etc.
I just finished the basic tutorial, game can look very good. I'm excited to play more when I have more time.

I'm trying to convince people to save their money and avoid getting scammed by a game that's been in development for over a decade and still doesn't have a release date.Dude nobody gives a fucking shit about this. You act like we don't know when the scope of this game changed? Who are you trying to convince?
I'm trying to convince people to save their money and avoid getting scammed by a game that's been in development for over a decade and still doesn't have a release date.
Star Citizen is nothing more than a scam. They're selling people JPEGs of spaceships and promising features that will never be implemented. The game is still in alpha after over a decade of development, and it's still nowhere near being finished. It is like a mirage in the desert. It promises you all sorts of wonderful things, but when you get closer, it's just nothing but empty air. They're selling people dreams, but they're not delivering.
There is a reason that 35% of their staff are working in marketing of that company
why do you guys still believe this lieing company?

According to your boss who pays for your shill posts, Squadron 42 already came out in 2016 so almost 8 years ago?so when the game comes out what are ya gnna do? And when people tell you that you can play star citizen right now how mad does that make you?
According to your boss who pays for your shill posts, Squadron 42 already came out in 2016 so almost 8 years ago?
still only one star system which isnt even finished
-> they actually sold land claims
-> 8 years later we still dont have persistent shared hangars
-> image speaks for itself ANSWER THE CALL 2016 lmao
-> almost 8 years later still only one star system so another LIE
and my favourite lie:
12 years later RSI / CIG has not released one SINGLE game but they continue to sell things for REAL MONEY that are still not in the game 7+ years later

For someone who thinks this is a scam, you sure do make a lot of time to "supposedly" delve into it. But hey...ignore list you go so...
lol the classic Star Citizen white knight response „ignore list“ instead of admitting im right. blind to see its you white knights who are moving the goalposts and ignoring the endless greedy lies by this scam companyTo continue to go overboard on your crusade does nothing to convince a single person here. Rather it's going to make them look at you and see mental issues.
(And btw, I've already defended several people's right to be critical towards SC, so don't even try to twist the narrative)
To my tiny ignore list with you.

For real? You really think that they could put it out THAT soon? Obviously plans changed because everything engine-wise goes very very wrong. Also Chris obviously underestimated development AS any other developer with such massive games. RDR2 and Zelda TOTK are only games that (as devs being smart) didn't promote the game until it's almost finished. I mean every game now suffers from delays or been released unfinished.According to your boss who pays for your shill posts, Squadron 42 already came out in 2016 so almost 8 years ago?

This is the most impressive vidya related thing I have seen since the source engine demo in 2003.
I never thought I would ever be saying anything nice in a star citizen thread, lol
Edit: Also, if this isnt fake, I can absolutely understand where all the money went. The madlads scope creeped themselves into making an immensely impressive game engine
I don't understand how any reasonably sound minded person can see the tremendous amount of progress being made and still say with a straight face that this is a scam. Like... where do you think all of this extra work has come from? With all of the amazing things that they have shown us this citizencon. Realistic propagation of fire based on material and fuel. The demo of the guy putting out the fire by venting the fuckin room into space. That was a holy shit moment. Being able to see the physical state of all ship components, doors, power plants, shield generators, etc in real time, and then alter and manage those states. Do people really think that this stuff came out of thin air?
No. It took dozens of people many thousands of man hours to make all this shit work together. The server meshing, the item persistence, the damage states on basically everything. Not to mention this all is being done as an MMO in an engine that was designed for a linear first person shooter. So first person animations have to match third person animations. Like... nothing about any of this process was easy.
And tell me they can't see where all the time and money has gone. I think people consistently forget that CIG is developing TWO GAMES at the same time. Squadron 42, the single player game, is a completely separate entity to Star Citizen, the mmo.
2023 easily 2nd biggest year, on way for perhaps even the biggest, especially after this conference.
[snip]
Yeah, it's going to drive a lot of haters even more crazy. Funnily enough the presentations also made me put money into SC, and for the first time since 2011. Upgrading my Aurora starter-ship to a Cutter. I might even buy something better later.
Have only opened the launcher before but never really played the game. So today I got to fly around the verse for three hours.. Most of the time without knowing wtf was going on, learning controls and remembering keybinds is hard. But finally starting to get the hang of it now. Feels pretty good, can't wait for more updates.
(Was a bit choppy at first, but turning off vsync helped a lot to bring it to a relatively smooth experience.)
Need some things anything statPyro evo patch live in ePTU, downloading it now!

Do we know how many Crytek staff are/were working for CIG and who the notable folks are?
Appreciate the in-depth reply, thanks! Didn't realise Sean Tracy was from Crytek.Crytek
Crytek is a video game and software developer and a publisher. They have developped among others Farcry, the Crysis series, Warface, Ryse: Son of Rome, Hunt: Showdown...starcitizen.tools
Crytek staff that joined CIG at one point or another includes among others John Crewe, Todd Papy, Christopher Bolte, Steve Bender, Brian Chambers, Caleb Essex, Sean Tracy, Dan Tracy and Michel Kooper.
No idea if it's up to date and there's probably a lot more, they have a Frankfurt studio. We saw Steve Bender during the SQ42 video for example. Christopher Bolte is the principle engine programmer, he worked Crysis 2, 3, Crysis consoles, Ryse.
Michel Kooper is a friend of mine. He now works for Guerrilla Games.Crytek

Yeah, and increasingly so with more refined content and features pouring in.People play shitty early access games for years, but SC is a step to far for them because it’s not “released”.
Dude Star Citizen already is released and is in continuous development. I had more fun in Star Citizen then the majority of the games i played in my life so far.
