Well, they did effects for Dagobah. The storybook shows Yoda's escape pod flying toward the planet in a finished effects shot, so they could add it back in.

I will say this the thing with
Qui-Gon
is gold, Jerry, gold (and that's my Seinfeld reference for the day). I really like what I've heard of that aspect of the story.

I really enjoyed reading that. Hopefully it comes across just as well in the movie.

I really hope the game turns out to be good. KOTOR is the closest thing to a good Star Wars game but I want to go all out and slash and cut down all sorts of shit with the lighsaber without having restrictions like that RPG.

Footage looks sweet,I agree 100 % that the voice over is horrible.

I didn't really care for the 1st or 3rd. Seems like they tried to make the movie too "fun" and not as serious. The second was cool. Good new footage too.

1 and 3 are clearly the commercials designed for the kids that the MPAA doesn't think should see the movie without parental guidance. 2 is clearly, you know, not a shitfest.

Those sound like the kind of promos that would be used during Saturday morning cartoons, or ar at least around kids' programming. I wouldn't worry too much.

Yeah, I've been trying to pinpoint this since I first saw the original preview. I think it's something with the material. Vader seems more toy-ish now... or something.

I think the reason for the differences in the Vader suite (helmet), other than having been altered to make it shorter to fit Hayden is the fact that, as far as I can see, it is based on the A New Hope Vader suit as opposed to the sequels, and thus does not look as stylish as in ESB and ROTJ. Which makes sense since it's before their time.

I saw A New Hope the other night, and I can't believe how much Ewan McGregor sounds/looks like Alec Guiness (or however you spell it).

They're not for people who 1) have an agenda against them and 2) make their mind up about the movie off of a 30 second TV spot.

I am cautiously optimistic about the movie actually. I was mainly jabbing at your defense of the commercial spot because its supposed to be dumb. Intentionally stupid does not a good commercial make.

Is it just me or is Grevious a little bit on the ... blah ... side CG wise ... I dunno it just hits me as totally fake. Anyone else think so? Although ... I would like to emphasize Ive seen this Grevious character for a total of .... hmmmmmmmmmm ... 2 seconds

I think the CG as a whole is probably going to suck. I hope I'm wrong but.....
