Ugh. Not really feeling it.

The addition of C3PO Lite and Vader at the end gave me some reflexive eye rolls.

Hopefully it's better than Disney supposedly thought when they ordered half of it to be reshot.

I was so fucking disappointed when I saw the movie and realized basically everything in the Kashyyk battle was in the trailers.

I know! I wish they had showed more. I remember being in the theater waiting for a huge battle to ensue on screen... didn't get much ;.;

It's going to be as epic as Episode III

Such a pile of shit. Reminds me of how GAF loved Transformers 3. Scust.

"chance to make a real difference" has to be the most overused trailer line by now, and some of the dialogue was a little awkward but overall I think Edwards is giving us better characters than in Godzilla

I'm onboard
Godzilla didn't go under re shoots and whatever else Disney wanted.

This trailer still has that 80's vibe, something other prequels lacked completely

As expected Donnie Yen was the best part of the trailer.

hopefully this is not as predictable and Cheesy as force awakens.

Seeing as we already know they succeed in their mission to steal the Death Star plans, I'd say it'll be predictable. And the new "comedy relief" droid reeks of cheese.

Doesn't mean it'll be bad though. FA had some predictably and cheese, and it's the second best Star Wars movie.

why are there a lot of users obsessed with the reshoots?!! almost all major movies have reshoots, the only reason you find out about the reshoots of this one it's because it was easy clicks.

If this movie turns out bad, everybody's gonna blame the reshoots.

Even if there's no reason to suspect the reshoots are the reason.

Cinematography looks beautiful.

It's not normal for reshoots to be handled by a different director.

A Star Wars movie every year is.. too much.

Trust me, man, I'm with you on this one. I'm just not on board with this trend of blockbuster after blockbuster. Non stop comic book films, sequels, reboots. But it is what it is. Gotta deal with it and try to make the best of it.

Is any humanoid robot C3PO Lite? Because the one in this movie is completely different than C3PO.

Then stay your edgy ass at home.

pardon?

Yes, it's "edgy" to not be cumming in my pants over this trailer.

Good thing you're here to tell it like it is.

No, but he appears to be the comedy relief, he's calculating survival odds, and he seems socially awkward. Just feels familiar. But it's whatever.

I'm not saying he's definitely a C3PO stand-in, but that's the vibe I'm getting so far.

Are you guys telling me you expect a Star Wars film to be cheesy? Fucking Star Wars? That's bloody ridiculous.

Star Wars... cheesy. You hear something crazy everyday.

None of the trailers have sold me on the character interactions, but at least the film continues to look stunning.
So much symbolism in one shot.
Oh come on, that shot is about as profound as the umbilical cord shot from Gravity. I won't deny it has deeper meaning, but it's pretty basic.

Yea this looks fucking awesome. I loved Force awakens but I think this will be so much better. Its the Star Wars I grew up with so it just hits home harder.

The calculating odds line was definitely a C3PO reference, but his other line and his intimidating appearance are immediately communicating something more along the lines of HK-47 or Mr. Bones. Less "obnoxious twit" and more "uncomfortably homicidal".

1 a year is smart imo, as big as the franchise is I don't think it can handle 2/3 movies a year with stormtroopers. I just don't know about the off years being prequels but maybe it's fine.

You're a huge Marvel fan, how can you say 1 Star Wars a year is too much?

Thought it looked terrible, especially in regards to the acting and line deliveries. Also I get it. Darth Vader is in the movie. I don't even like Vader anyway, get his appearance over with so we can move on.
