I was so fucking disappointed when I saw the movie and realized basically everything in the Kashyyk battle was in the trailers.
They created exact digital replicas of every tiny part that made up the original Star Destroyer model and pieced them together to create what we have on the screen. It's crazy (and admirable).
It's going to be as epic as Episode III

Why would you want a Star Wars film every year with the same tone?
A Star Wars movie every year is.. too much.
A Star Wars movie every year is.. too much.
They actually did it! Skip to 12:45wait, are you just making that up or did they actually do that?
Godzilla didn't go under re shoots and whatever else Disney wanted."chance to make a real difference" has to be the most overused trailer line by now, and some of the dialogue was a little awkward but overall I think Edwards is giving us better characters than in Godzilla
I'm onboard
In a world where we get 3 marvel superhero movie each year?A Star Wars movie every year is.. too much.
As expected Donnie Yen was the best part of the trailer.
hopefully this is not as predictable and Cheesy as force awakens.
In a world where we get 3 marvel superhero movie each year?
DARTH
FUCKING
VADER
Ugh. Not really feeling it.
The addition of C3PO Lite and Vader at the end gave me some reflexive eye rolls.
Hopefully it's better than Disney supposedly thought when they ordered half of it to be reshot.

If this movie turns out bad, everybody's gonna blame the reshoots.why are there a lot of users obsessed with the reshoots?!! almost all major movies have reshoots, the only reason you find out about the reshoots of this one it's because it was easy clicks.
Then stay your edgy ass at home.
It's not normal for reshoots to be handled by a different director.why are there a lot of users obsessed with the reshoots?!! almost all major movies have reshoots, the only reason you find out about the reshoots of this one it's because it was easy clicks.
If I see anything resembling a Star Wars movie, I am not giving Disney any more of my money. If I so much as see a lightsaber hilt in Episode VIII, I swear to god...
A Star Wars movie every year is.. too much.
It really looks like a shot of miniatures. Great lighting and detail.I love this shot.
I know it probably isn't but it looks like actual models instead of CGI.
Then stay your edgy ass at home.
pardon?
Is any humanoid robot C3PO Lite? Because the one in this movie is completely different than C3PO.
Then stay your edgy ass at home.
Oh come on, that shot is about as profound as the umbilical cord shot from Gravity. I won't deny it has deeper meaning, but it's pretty basic. So much symbolism in one shot.
A Star Wars movie every year is.. too much.
The calculating odds line was definitely a C3PO reference, but his other line and his intimidating appearance are immediately communicating something more along the lines of HK-47 or Mr. Bones. Less "obnoxious twit" and more "uncomfortably homicidal".No, but he appears to be the comedy relief, he's calculating survival odds, and he seems socially awkward. Just feels familiar. But it's whatever.
I'm not saying he's definitely a C3PO stand-in, but that's the vibe I'm getting so far.
1 a year is smart imo, as big as the franchise is I don't think it can handle 2/3 movies a year with stormtroopers. I just don't know about the off years being prequels but maybe it's fine.

The Death Star is "upside-down".
You're a huge Marvel fan, how can you say 1 Star Wars a year is too much?
