I'm probably the only one, but seeing people getting invites, no release date known and just having waited so long for the game, makes me slowly want it less as time goes by. It's like being addicted and anticipating something for so long, it just grows old after awhile.

With all the great games coming out soon as fall approaches, for some reason I'm just starting to care less and less about this particular game.

It's probably just me.

That's normal. Try to ignore reading everything that is released, that may help.

That's the thing, I'm not. I'm just tired of Bioware's secrecy.

I'm sure the game will be great though. At least I hope.

Canada.

There really aren't that many people on the test forums yet, and beta starts Tuesday. I'm assuming a LOT more will be going out. The invites started yesterday as far as I can tell.

Is the forum you have access to for Canadians only..? Or there aren't many people in the official NA forums ?

No there are Americans in there. No Europeans as far as I can tell.

There just aren't that many people with access/posting yet, which leads me to believe they'll ramp up invites before Tuesday. It was apparently supposed to go live tonight, but isn't.

Negative. Unless you mean separate Euro/NA... that's possible. I don't know how it's set to work. I do know this is the NA one. It's not separate between Canada and the US. Mainly I can tell just because there are several topics on ISP bandwidth (I'm not lying when I say it's a HUGE download) and a lot of people are posting US ISP's and data plans.

Gotcha. I didn't realize one had started prior to this because all the info I found was indicating September tests. Apparently there are indeed different groups.

It's one of the Magid focus tests. You don't get invited into the real ongoing beta until you participate in one of the "squadron" focus tests.

Assuming the game is still good it doesn't really affect me at all, like with gta 4 I was over hyped yet I still found it to be very enjoyable.

Perhaps, although it would seem like the focus of this one is to play the whole game and keep playing it until launch (based on what they've said to us).

Gotta wait for the games release for a real fan community forum. Right now, The TOR threads of Something Awful, MMO Champ, and here are good. Could also peruse the TOR leak sites discussion areas for conversation.

I would be all over Consular if it didn't have robes as armor. Almost all MMOs/RPGs have terrible robe models/graphics.

I wanna say this like Bioware.

We have plans, but cannot talk about them at this time. We will have news at a later date.

In short, they had racial bonuses in the game, took them out, and are in the process of adding them back in, but better. Maybe. No idea.

Ok, cool, thanks. I like racial bonuses but I sure hope they aren't so important that I'd be forced to pick an ugly green-skinned humanoid if I wanna be a Consular...lol.

I think the time and need of min/maxing your MMO-character are long past due. If race A has +20 Force Power, but race B looks infinitely more cooler to your tastes, then the right choice would be B. It won't have a decisive consequence imo to leave that racial trait just for what it is.
