Seems like they trickle out at random times.

It's also weird just how many gafers are getting in. Either a lot of invites are going out, or the site is a good luck charm.

I can agree with that. And yes, i am shallow too.

But i think with the fact that Jedi/Sith wear so many robes Bioware will have to go out of their way to make sure the models are good. Because even the Knight and Warrior wear robes over their armor, and i've seen a few troopers with those little "Butt Flags" or whatever you would call them.

This isn't true. The only people I've seen invited are either part of an organized SWTOR guild or a random. NeoGAF isn't invited because... it's NeoGAF, dude. Would you invite an open-enroll GAF zerg guild to *your* beta?

Besides GAFfers usually are reliable. Like squirrels. And the zerg would be only beneficial for them as they would gain insane amounts of feedback.

The groups that were selected seem to be fairly "plugged in" to the community.

This is the closest the GAF Empire guild has been to the Republic guild. If we catch up to you guys all hell will break loose and by hell, im talking about mean spirited jokes and name calling *evil grin*

Considering how many gaffers toss bread crumbs around beyond just saying they are in beta I think its safe to say why Gaf guild etc doesnt get put in

Lots of guilds haven't gotten in. We may have solid numbers, but we aren't that high on the list. Plus we aren't all too active outside of this thread.

That sucks. As it is I had to purchase an extra data block from my ISP to accommodate a single download. I was already near my limit. Downloading that massive client twice is awful.

:( not that random! Played all of WoW from beginning, some Aion, Age of Conan, Rift and Guildwars. I'm a veteran! lol


But yeah..... Tuesday is the start of the testing phase.

I had a really detailed dream that I was playing the beta and whem I woke up I thought it was real until I realized I haven't touched a computer in a week.
