Hype is subjective, folks who are fans of the kind of single player RPGs Bethesda Games Studios make are looking forward to the next one in almost a decade, and the first new IP they've made in about 2 decades.

I think general pre-load for all versions on console has already begun as of the 17th and will be 30th of August on PC / Steam, so just a day before the early-access release.
