Is the story going to be another #me too, #woman boss story like 3? If so, not interested. The last one's story was cringeworthy and awful. it was also baked in the game in such a way that you couldn't skip the woke parts. basically, forced wokeness.

looks like a Borderlands game after all, if the writting story is good Will be a Nice Game

also nees to know they performance on a PS5 PRO.

Just updated OT.

It was ok, i mean there's so much stuff added to gameplay that feels a little bloated.
I didn't played Borderlands recently so i don't remember it well.

It looks modern enough i guess.

- There was abit of pop in but to be fair, how often are you going to be seeing all those long views.
- 3 new gun manufacturers/types
- You can get guns with parts from multiple vendors (this seemed like the natural way to go - i was hoping they'd let you build a gun yourself) 🧠
- Co-Op looks mostly the same
- Movement should be a tab better
- The minimal lip syncing i saw wasnt good
- Characters look very meh (they look more generic than previous ones honestly). Most likely there are two more coming in DLC ™️

I think the clincher will be the characters and the writing, if that sucks like 3 - it'll be a meh release.

Paraphrasing : 'Legendaries dropped too often in BL3, this not only devalued legendaries, it made everthing feel less valuable".

They learned something, so there is hope.

I get the complaints about the NPCs in Borderlands 3, but the moment to moment gameplay, boss fights, guns and abilities were all solid. This looks to continue that at the very least.

they want getting "loot" to got more meaning to drop due Borderlands 3 has problem on that due all loot drop is easy to drop even there is no iconic weapons like from borderlands 2 legendary that need a nerf or such [yup there is a nerf on weapons in borderlands 3 but its just so meh that so forgettable] even its same issue that wonderlands failed too even boss fights of 3 and wonderlands its just weak ass like borderlands 1(but borderlands 1 bosses are more iconic than 3 or wonderlands)

Things I liked:

- weapons rolling with different manufacturing parts
- the Destiny 2 warlock glide
- summonable vehicle
- reduced legendary drop rate

Things I didn't like:

- looks last gen (at best)
- new gun types looked like single shot / heavy weapons
- vault hunter abilities look tired

It really does look like B3 DLC.

I think it looks cooler upon rewatch. Basically Borderlands with some Destiny stuff infused in it. But a lot of it will hinge on if they truly fixed the atrocious writing or if they're just hiding it.

Best Borderlands game was the original "Tales From ..."
That game had no right to be that good. Such an underrated gem. I remember playing it because it was on PS Plus and I was blown away.

Peak Telltale was something else. They really had something special there.

havent watched yet, but saw a clip saying its more open world now? sigh
It's already been confirmed that it is not really open world but more like all areas are now connected and can be traveled between seamlessly without loading screens unlike BL3 where you had to fast travel to different planets with loading screens between them
