Just had another "Since when did I own...?!" moment. Signed into Steam, a few minutes later "Steam has finished updating Delve Deeper". Didn't even realise I owned it!

Edit: New page, so might as well ask this here - I'm in the UK, are there any extra charges/taxes for buying games from D2D US? NBA says it's available worldwide and works out cheaper from the US store.

I would say its a bad time to start. If the sale is coming within the next weeks you'll end starting EU3, buying games during the sale, and then forgetting about EU3 because you'll want to play with your shiny new toys that are clearly more fun than anything else you've owned.

online's pretty important for me for sport games. I've heard bad things about it on PC version, Is it truly as bad as people say? And is there still a decent online community for 2k11?

Is anyone here willing to take Star Drone (on Steam) or something even similarly priced (even if higher) for a JC2 key off D2D?

I spent what I had saved for JC2 on 2k11 yesterday. I added the rest to my steam wallet so now I'm in a corner ffs lol

I had to verify my account with a US phone number. Their system calls the number and gives you a verification code.

New registry stuff, although there doesn't appear to be anything sale related in this update: two new test apps which appear to be Section 8: Prejudice DLC from the application info, and King Arthur II. The "TestApp 42722 and 42723 Beta" from the screenshot yesterday appear to be related to CoD: Black Ops. More DLC on the way?

Hey, I know this has been asked before but how do you move your steam installation from one disk to another? I bought a new hard drive and I have games and such downloaded and rather than redownload a bunch of games I just want to move the data to the new hard drive and start playing. If anyone has a link or can explain to me how to do it I'd greatly appreciate it.

Just copy your Steamapps folder over to your new HD in the same place in Program Files and Steam should detect all your games.

Ah, cool. So just copy that and then when steam opens after installing it it will just read the files like they were always there?

Yep that's it as far as the game files are concerned. You need to back up any saves you want to keep though, either google for what save folder the game uses, or just use GameSave Manager.

Yep, and it doesn't even need to be in a Program Files folder.. You could put it in F:\GAMESWOTISGOOD\ and it'll all be good. (copying the contents of the whole steam folder - though you may need to delete clientregistry.blob).

You could reinstall steam to the new drive but that's always risky - make sure you backup your \STEAMAPPS\ folder, as Steam uninstalling itself will delete *EVERYTHING* :(

I hope New Vegas DLC goes on sale. Price for them now seems a bit too much, if I were to buy them I would have spent more on the DLC than the game itself.

Has New Vegas DLC ever gone on sale? I don't remember ever seeing it.

Those guys don't earn a lot (and by not a lot I mean virtually no salary during Amnesia), you could just buy it at full price if you have the money. It's easily worth it. It even got free DLC thanks to Portal.

If you cheaped out on Amnesia and enjoyed it I expect you to pre-order their next game.

Had it been any other time I probably would have bought them. But so close to summer sale, I'd rather wait and see if they pop up.

Yeppers - that area is a rolling list of the (5 I think) most played games over the last 2 week period.

Two weeks from now - no one will ever know you played Just Cause II Demo (I recommend you get the full game and play it all the time so people know how awesome it is :p)

That's expired too. I also tried the other one posted in this thread and my own and they are all expired. It seems this 15% off deal might be over, which is really too bad because I have been buying quite a few games from Direct2Drive as a result. And I was about to buy Divinity 2 from them since they price matched Steam but also offer 15% off, but no more!
