Concerning Kane and Lynch 2: I bought this game for $5 way back and convinced my friend to get as well due to the co-op. We just recently went through it. Yes, it was short. Yes it had questionable AI. But, I will say that we had a tremendous amount of fun, even if it was only for 4 hours. For one, the game is beautiful. There are a ton of filters and stuff, but it makes the game very atmospheric. The whole thing is crazy over the top. I think I realized I was playing something unique when me and my friend were running down a rainy street in China, completely naked, abused, and glistening, mowing people down with assault rifles.

Pretty unique and worth the $5 for me.

Just got around to seeing the new update. Damn it's sleek and nothing has changed much cosmetically but the group tab is NOICE. Anyone have a bullet point change log?

Heh, I just noticed the groups tab for the first time since you mentioned it. Good addition!

New Worms game is 3D, interesting. Makes me a bit skeptical.

Oh god, they didn't learn from those other atrocious 3d worms games? Seriously Team 17?

it seems like.. you can now gift ENTIRE 4packs. lol
just tried (bought it into my inventory and gifted it)
But you still can't buy 4-packs for games you already own, even as a gift.

I noticed it only ever happens with games that are in the last 2 weeks played. It never has done it for games outside the 2 weeks, at least for me anyway.

It's being going on for acouple years now and i still can't belive Valve haven't fixed it yet.

I don't think Team 17 learns from anything anymore. It's kind of sad.
Yet people will still buy "Worms Armageddon, we are serious this time, THIS IS THE EDITION YOU ALWAYS WANTED"

Eh, Worms 4 was decent. It could even be good with some more weapon tweaking. I'm done with the 2D franchise. It peaked at Worms Armageddon.

Hah, after all the crap posted here about Hard Reset not running well, the game runs flawlessly at 60FPS with Ultra setting on a GTX470 2650x1440

It'd be nice if Steam itself gave you this information, it already shows transaction history (along with what you specifically paid for that transaction) they just don't give you a total. My Steam could be worth anywhere between $2,200 and $7,200 according to this website, I just don't know what I bought on sale and what I bought full price so there's no way to be more specific without adding it all up from my store transaction history.
There are a couple of javascript/bookmarklet things that will add up your transaction history for you and show you what you actually spent, but I can't seem to google them up at the moment.

This one was posted by another user in this thread a while back

Code:
javascript:(function(){alert($$('.transactionRowPrice').map(function(x){return x.innerHTML;}).reject(function(x) {return x.indexOf('$') < 0;}).map(function(x){return parseFloat(x.gsub('$', ''));}).inject(0, function(x,y){return x + y;}).toFixed(2))})();

Yeah Kane & Lynch 2 is worth 5$, if you set aside three or four hours you'll power through the game no problem and get your monies worth. You probably won't ever install it again. The presentation and world art are pretty impressive, the gameplay is servicable, but I find Kane and Lynch to be the most unlikeable protagonists in gaming thus far.

The first game at least presented a somewhat interesting scenario for coop play, playing as a psychopath, experiencing his visions, which I was never able to play. The second game just feels like a really rote, third person, cover centric shooter with some interesting presentation married onto a terrible story with awful characters. I personally have no interest in Kane or Lynch, they're awful human beings. They're not likeable as anti-heroes, they just ruin peoples lives through their proximity.

I have pre-ordered Rock of Ages. Team Ace made it an auto-buy.

Is there a way to sort saves for 2 different users on a PC without creating multiple accounts in Windows?

Name your save files with a prefix or suffix?

let me know how it is

Graphics look good, but its an obvious console port. You only have to join multiplayer lobby to know, btw noone is playing online. The multiplayer lobby is quickmatching POS and you can walk around doing while you wait.

It has too much handholding garbage going on with the interface and all these mini achievements popping up. Also there is a waypoint every 10 meters in the game on where to go.

Gunplay seems solid and the weapons and pistols have that ompth behind them.

Good thing i got this for free from GMG with referral money.

2 pics from the first level. You see that white dot? Thats the stupid waypoint system, you can't even disable it.

Does that white dot always look so 8-bit?

Had to retype the javascript part into Chrome (Must be some security Feature), but Steam says I spent $1064.12. Also adding up the stuff I could activate on steam (adds upto $130.52), I have spent exactly $1194.64 (This does include stuff like TF2 keys). That is for roughly 330 games, so roughly $3.63 per game. Considering I didn't really start making a lot of use of steam till June 2010, that would be roughly $80 a month in PC games over the past 15 months.

apparently the whole UI (even the font) has that 8-bit style going on

for no apparent reason that i know of
I think i heard in the Quick Look that the GUI's inspired in squad car computers or something like that.

Thanks! Got 1838.67 and an account valued at 4977.63. Quite a savings! :) Works out to about $5.50 per game and I'd assume that not including DLC purchases and gifts that I've given.

How and where do I use this?
