I doubt it if there's a ton of sales like there were last December. Figure those threads would finish the year out if there's two to finish the last weeks or so like last year.

How and where do I use this?

Create a bookmark and change the URL to the javascript code above -> log in to the Steam website -> click "[your user name]'s account" -> click "Account details" -> click "Store transactions" -> click "See all" -> open the aforementioned bookmark.

Edit: You can also paste the code into the address bar or js substitute, as Aselith says, but creating a bookmark makes future reference much easier.

If you're using Chrome, load up the Steam transaction history through Chrome not the client. Then go to settings > tools > JavaScript console and copy-paste that code in then hit enter and you should get your results. Not sure on other browsers but just look for something to do with Java commands I guess?

Thanks JaseC and Aselith but somehow neither of your suggestions seem to work. Probably because of my currency (€)? Oh well, no biggie.

You might try changing all of the dollar signs in the script to the euro sign instead. I'm not positive that would work but it's worth a shot. I'm not too much of a coder but it looks like that code is keying off of $ amounts to look for transaction numbers so changing that should cause it to look for euro transactions instead.

Code:
javascript:(function(){alert(€€('.transactionRowPrice').map(function(x){return x.innerHTML;}).reject(function(x) {return x.indexOf('€') < 0;}).map(function(x){return parseFloat(x.gsub('$', ''));}).inject(0, function(x,y){return x + y;}).toFixed(2))})();

Try that, I just changed the $ to €, maybe it will work.

Dont get it. Only the first 4 hours are good. Oh wait... that's the length of the entire game.

Fixed. Online is godly though. So godly! I just don't know if people are playing or not.

P.S. My steam account is valued at $1934.54, and I've spend $953.17 on it.
FUCKING VALVE, WHAT HAVE U DONE TO ME?!

You forgot the other $ sign.

I figured it out, you have to change the bolded one, like this:

javascript:(function(){alert($$('.transactionRowPrice').map(function(x){return x.innerHTML;}).reject(function(x) {return x.indexOf('€') < 0;}).map(function(x){return parseFloat(x.gsub('€', ''));}).inject(0, function(x,y){return x + y;}).toFixed(2))})();

Thanks again guys, pretty cool stuff :D

Concerning Kane and Lynch 2: I bought this game for $5 way back and convinced my friend to get as well due to the co-op. We just recently went through it. Yes, it was short. Yes it had questionable AI. But, I will say that we had a tremendous amount of fun, even if it was only for 4 hours. For one, the game is beautiful. There are a ton of filters and stuff, but it makes the game very atmospheric. The whole thing is crazy over the top. I think I realized I was playing something unique when me and my friend were running down a rainy street in China, completely naked, abused, and glistening, mowing people down with assault rifles.

Pretty unique and worth the $5 for me.
I'll second this. Played a couple of hours last night and really enjoyed it. The game is no award-winner but it's definitely unique. Some parts are gorgeous too when maxed out.

Edit: I bought Railworks 1 for a tenner ages ago and it got a free upgrade to Railworks 2 which is now getting a free upgrade to Railworks 3. That's awesome.

STORM: Frontline Nation is the Daily Deal, any good? Need for Speed series for the weekend deal, that could be interesting

I would likely get it at $5. Looks like a fun tactics game, but I would have no one to play with.

Oh man, storm is going to loose so many potential sales to Civ V. "Which turn based game would I want, Civilization 5 for $12.50, or this no name Storm game for $10..."

WAIT.... how come EA are putting a sale on steam rather than Origin at this point? I know deals are planned beforehand but considering EA & Valve are at loggerheads at the moment I find this puzzling

NFS: Undercover and Shift for me. This weekends marks the 500th time Civ V has gone on sale in the last few months, so I'll just wait until I finally get around to playing Civ IV before picking it up.
