well this sucks
apparently those extra mirror's edges?
they are stuck into my account:
I cant give away the redeem url cause they are already attached to me (says invalid gift to whoever i send it), and if i try to open them (wich i figured i could and they'd be added to my inventory or something) it says i already own the game.
So basically stuck there forever. Sent a support ticket to see what can be done.
Its the biggest flaw i found with Steam yet. Cause if i dont accept a gift in time, it wont show up under my "already owned" list. So basically 10 people could gift me the same thing without knowing i already own it, and 9 of those gifts would be lost. They need to work the inventory thing into this.

I got Magicka with the survival kit some time ago, which meant I was out of luck for DLC sales until now since they were previously only bundled with the main game. It's still kind of a pain. You have to go to the main Magicka game page, scroll to the bottom of all the listed bundles and stuff, expand the list of DLC, click add all DLC, then remove the ones you already have.
Since it didn't get a daily sale, I'm thinking of picking up some DLC for Majesty 2 before the sale ends completely. I already have Kingmaker - are either of Monster Kingdom or Battles of Ardania worth having? From the descriptions they seem like good value, especially at £2 each. Thought I'd see if anyone's played them first, though.

besides peak sale times there are very few games going on, I recommendatory getting some friends on board as they won't quit on you, plus the game will take a few hours most people will quit on you which makes the game harder, honestly just play with friends - it's so much more fun!

I'm sure some people would. Remember that Gabe's said there's always an uptick in full-price sales right after a discount expires. Maybe someone had their friend recommend it and wanted to start playing it right now. So, I just bought Republic Commando and wanted to know how many games I own. I looked in Steam (199), in my profile (275) and on steamcalculator.com (180). I assume the number on your profile counts the demos and mods you played too and steamcalc doesn't show any DLC/expansions/free games and combines some stuff (like the Tales of Monkey Island episodes). I know, I know. It's kinda stupid but this bugs me out a bit. What number do you guys go with?

I just bought what I was missing of the Magicka DLC, even though I have no intention of using said content. The game would feel... naked without the additional crap.

Valve was planning something for today. They were originally going to release the option to translate everything in the Steam store to pirate language but that was put on hold.
