How does multiplayer work?

It's got a bunch of coop instances. It's not open world like the single player, but is pretty fun in a PSO kind of fashion. I think there is a pvp mode as well.

Hmm that has me intrigued. I already have the game, but I'm gonna add it to my list of co-op games to try out soon.

Yeah and it had good graphics which are the only two things he needs.

The actual game is pretty bad though. Not TW1 bad, but still pretty bland and boring.

I liked TW2 until I got to the savanna. Shit got boring quick there. I'm glad I only played it a bit at a friend's house and never bought it myself. With that said, I'd pick up the game at $10 and give it another chance. It's absurd that the base price is still $49.99. Are these guys trying to be Activision or something?

That pirate expansion looks pretty cool. I like pirates.

I'd buy Two Worlds 2 if it was $10.

They made it a boringass generic rpg instead of a funny 3rd person diablo game, BOOORING

I would just like to confirm this one:

Switching rigs. I only need to copy Steamapps folder and any directories in My Documents? Will the fact that the game was never technically installed on a new computer matter?

Pokémon Parentage Conspiracy Theorist
I only want Bit.Trip Runner, not all that other shit. No sale.

NICE TRY, GABE.

FYI on Two Worlds 2, it has a 3 activation limit you have to go beg someone, on the publishers forum, with a DBZ avatar for more. The DRM isn't listed on the store page. Plus, if you don't care about that, it was cheaper during the summer sale and will be for the winter sale.

Wow...if you like Tower Defense and don't buy the indie bundle...shame on you. Haven't played Sol Survivor, but Anomaly, Revenge, Sanctum, and Defense Grid are all superlative in quality. Not only that, they all play really differently.

Two Worlds 2 is a 40 hour RPG with a pretty deep multiplayer component. I don't see how $25 is somehow out of line.

Steam sales have spoiled you guys.

i thought it was outrageous as well but then it says it was released in Feb of this year so it really isn't that bad...i just wanted it cheaper :(

To anyone who wants either defense grid or bit trip beat, i have both and will gift one of them to one individual. I want to spread the wealth so only one per person if you think you are worthy. The first person to send me a PM with which one they want gets that one.

I'm always in this thread but rarely post. This is also the first time i think i've given anything away i think as well...time to give back.

EDIT: ALL GONE

Steam doesn't want to connect while I'm tethered to my phone, and it crashes when choosing the offline option. Suggestions?

the 2D Indie Bundle is tempting...

Anyone know if it's worth $10 for the three I don't have out of this pack? :

BIT.TRIP RUNNER
NightSky
Swords and Soldiers HD

I went ahead and bought the pack of tower defense games, just not sure about this once since I already have two of the games. Thanks!

i played swords and soldiers on wiiware and it was absolutely fantastic (and this was with motion controls). so much so, i'm thinkin about buying the pack even though i already own one of the games and played one of the others. it's just really fun and i would like to play it again. 84/100 metacritic if that means anything as well. i could describe the gameplay more if you'd like.

grabbin rusty hearts atm. worth downloading just to see the pretty graphics. (look at screenshots :D)

I personally think Swords and Soldiera HD alone is worth $10. A pretty fun 2D strategy game. The other two are a lot of fun as well. I suck at Runner so I've never made it very far.

Nice to see Rusty Hearts on there. I wonder if they'll put up Path of Exile when it's released.

I think so. Runner is pretty hardcore but it's a work of genius.
Swords and Soldiers is a nice take on tower defense, like an horizontal version of it.
Nightsky is a tiny little game, but it's nice even if I didn't play it for a long time.

Also, is anyone playing Rusty Hearts? It's a new free-to-play, I think I dig its character design but I still haven't downloaded it.

Ugh. Getting around to finally booting Thief: Deadly Shadows and I'm going to have to play the mandatory tutorial for a third fucking time.

Got to the end the first time and exited out to options to see what a key binding was. This exited me out and forced me to redo it.

Then I played again and just assumed it would save my progress at the end of the tutorial. Quit about 1 minute into the first mission.

Just boot up now and see my only save is a quicksave I did at the start of the tutorial.

NO! I don't want to play the tutorial again:(

Rusty Hearts look good. Apparently it has no pay-wo-win either, the stuff you can buy with real money seems to be shit like xp boosters and vanity items.

I remember trying to play Thief: Deadly Shadows and having some really weird issues with trying to climb ladders in the tutorial.

I do want to go back and try that game someday.

Reason I hated doing the tutorial so much was the lockpicking. Kind of glad now. It forced me to google lockpicking and realize you didn't want to use the mouse. You just use the asdf keys. Super simple now. Was actually why I never made it past the demo when the game was released. Lockpicking using the mouse gave me a headache and was completely random. Doh.

It worked perfectly fine with the mouse for me.

Sounds interesting, really liking the combat from the trailer, will wait for more hands on impressions.

How did you pull that off? Cheapest I've seen it was $45 after a 25% discount.
I had another coupon that I couldn't stack with the Dead Space 2 promo, so I waited until that ended [to see if there would be another promo], then I used it + the 25% birthday thing.

I've seen normal peoples Steam accounts... with like 20games.

*cries*

Yeah, me too. I even have a couple on my friends list. Their wish lists tend to be very weird too. Actually that's one of my pet peeves that peoples wish lists are really weird (by this I mean lego harry potter #1 or weird shit) or obviously not up to date, because I do go through my friends often just browsing. Also, I can tell if people play any of their games or not.
