Yeah, me too. I even have a couple on my friends list. Their wish lists tend to be very weird too. Actually that's one of my pet peeves that peoples wish lists are really weird (by this I mean lego harry potter #1 or weird shit) or obviously not up to date, because I do go through my friends often just browsing. Also, I can tell if people play any of their games or not.
*checks wishlist.... nope no Lego Harry Potter here.* Guess I am a-okay. Not really, lol

I already have all the games in the 2D bundle, but I might grab it for my gf, hmmm.

Do it good sir! :)

As a Mac user I would love to go for this bundle, but even at this price I have to avoid because my wallet is having a hard time... How sad is that...

Oh, and as if that was not bad, steamgifts makes me feel even worse by not having money:

Error: We require all registered users to have at least $50.00 worth of games associated with their Steam account. This is to prevent users from creating multiple Steam accounts for use on this site, which might result in cheating. Currently your account is valued at $43.63. If you believe this was an error, please contact us.

... =(

Well if you see any of mine with no time played it's probably because I played the game elsewhere and just bought it on Steam because it was cheap. :p

I have a lot with no time played too that I got in packs. But I mean, most people at least have a game or two you can tell they played enough to beat, but some people have at most 1 hour on any of their games. It makes you not want to gift them anything was what I meant.

Oh, yeah. I understand that. There's no point if they just collect games more than play them.

I blame Minecraft for my played games being so low. I wish I could link that with Steam... Work it out boys, you both are so awesome. Notch buy Gabe a pastry and think of the future!

For those of you who want to pick up the Steam version of Arkham City for a decent price there are people selling the Arkham City steam codes that come with Nvidia video cards on ebay for between $30 and $40.

I got my code for $35 and I'll be ready when they finally release the PC version.

yeah i was looking at these earlier and just now went with it with what looked to be a trustworthy seller ($33)

not really for the money but for fear that i wont have it by the time they put the game up for pre-order (specially with the delay)

Cant believe im doing this again, GFWL

Just be aware people can fuck you around if they know a key that is linked to your account.

how could they fuck you around? these are legit keys given out on an Nvidia promotion. Guy probably works at a hardware store/doesnt care for the free game. This isnt any different than getting the card and activating the game yourself. Doing a follow-up on ebay keys to see who sold them or whatever is as pointless as giving a penalty to everyone who just gave the key away to a friend.

I would pay 60 dollars for it on day one if it didnt used GFWL.

No i mean the people who sell the keys can fuck you around. If they decide to contact Steam support for example and present the key as stolen your account will be suspended. Unlikely but this is ebay after all :/

Ahh yeah, for sure. Many people selling and not a lot with good feedback, made sure dude i bought from had plenty. Only chance at getting the game right now though, since im not paying full price for a GFWL game anymore!

Which is why I bought it from someone with over 300 ratings, 100% positive. Most of their recent feedback is from Steam CD keys. I'm not too worried.

It also seems like kind of a hassle to go through that. Going through something that's third party based (meaning Steam doesnt have anything to do with it other than being a retailer for the game).. i dont really know if Steam would react in that way, specially after seeing my account with 500 games in it..

btw guy i bought from (after seeing his profile and sold items) is clearly a hardware store guy. Probably selling the codes now figuring he can make more money out of them separately while still selling the video cards once the promotion passes.

edit: oops dp

I just really hate the GFWL situation, i really do. If i end up loving the game i'll probably give a copy or two away to some friends who are new to steam later on when its cheaper, cause i kinda feel bad about it, but i just cant be fooled into spending 50-60 bucks again on a game that uses that shit service that is bound to erase my saves. I just dont wanna support that.

You could say i never asked for this, what a shame.

I'm interested in Swords and Soldiers HD but not the rest of the pack. I like the strategy pack but own Defense Grid and Sanctum already.

If I were to pick up the strategy pack would anyone in a similar situation trade me Swords and Soldiers for Defense Grid or Sanctum? Send me a message.

Goddammit, Call of Juarez: Bound in Blood is such a POS. The carriage mission is one of the most tedious passages I've ever played. Fuck this game's shaky aming.

My Battlefield BC2 patched today. 2,023.0 mb

Like how steam does that :]

Mine too. Extremely extremely annoying because I have a data cap. Steam should really have a scheduler or an option to turn off ALL automatic downloads, not just for individual games.

Pause it, then? The patch got announced yesterday too including the size.

I wasn't watching the computer so it downloaded 1gb before I saw and could pause it? What I suggested is pretty basic functionality that would improve Steam.

Unfortunately I don't pay attention to patch announcements for random games in my steam library.

I recently tried it out and I really did not like the game at all. I kept pushing myself to continue because it's such a widely acclaimed franchise but after a few hours I came to the conlusion at least the first one is really not for me.

I got so tired of shooting at shit and not hitting it. I know that's the whole point, realism blah blah blah, but damn, it kind of takes the fun out of it for me.

I'll eventually try the second and third just to see if anything changes and since I have them.

Yeah I was talking about the second one, if it's in the first too I just found a reason to skip it. It's really a shame because aside from the cheesy dialogue I'd really enjoy it but I can't tolerate FPS with "off" aiming.

I remember the aiming being pretty good as long as you used the iron sights in the first one? Shakey, sure, but the bullets went straight.

Hells Highway is much, much more tedious with its objectives. THAT game had the problem that you could easily headshot everyone from a mile away and not having to use a lot of tactics in an open field though, I thought.

I didn't really have a problem with it. They clearly made the aiming a bit more inaccurate so you couldn't just shoot everyone from cover from far away, but you have to outflank them.
