I've read it has a "stamina system", similar to the energy in Spiral Knights, and it limits how many hours you can play for a day (if you run out, you won't gain xp, and not enough gold to repair your armour). It's the only thing keeping me from trying the game, how does it exactly work?. I ask because on the forums it's seen as the main cash sink.

PD2: Nevermind, it seems it was something from the korean version that they kept on in the closed beta, and it's gone now. Let's play!

Buying an decent Nvidia card and using it as a dedicated PhysX card!

Outside of that (or buying a Nvidia card good enough to run the game with PhysX) I know no way of achieving that.

It's pretty good but can't live up to the greatness that is Quake Wars. Most people would have a good time with it on PC nowadays, especially at that price.

Has anyone hear played the second Call of Juarez, Bound in Blood? I feel stupid over this but I can't figure it out. I'm on the second chapter and I have to put out a fire to rescue someone. I'm told to get a bucket of water but there are no buckets full of water. There's buckets near a well but I can't interact with them. If I run a bit further I do see a bucket of water but the game doesn't let me pick it up.

Edit: Nevermind, I kept reloading over and over and eventually the buckets were full. Weird.

Get an Nvidia card :p

The PhysX stuff in Mirror's Edge looked pretty good, stuff like glass shattering, some cloth physics and stuff but it's all cosmetic and the game still looks great without it.

Noticed a ton more difference between swapping from a generic pad to this bout 3+ years ago than from a generic mouse to a mx518.

To give you an idea im back at the generic genius mouse and i dont even miss the mx that much, besides the extra buttons.


Pad's dirty as shit though, should try to clean it but some stains are there for good. I cover a really small radius with my mouse motions anyway..

Razer Sphex, don't really need a mousepad but I didn't want to scratch up my new table with the mouse, hence why I got one.

Hunted down to 20$? Really hoping both it and Bulletstorm get the 75%(I'll accept 66%) sales for the Holiday season.

Hoping for an Alice Returns price drop to 30$ before we hit the sale too.

Think that would cover most of the earlier year, big budget titles for me. Honestly, if EA were still bros with Steam. I'd probably even pick up DAII just to play through it. An easy RPG time to time is pretty nice, compared to the normal more demanding ones.
