Man, Rusty Hearts is pretty good with a couple of friends. I can't believe how much I just played.

Keep your eyes open for Prey 2 then. I saw a 10min developer walkthrough at the GamesCome in August and was blown away at how incredibly well this games merges Mirror's Edge and Deus Ex.

Seems like the kind of thing that they'd fix pretty quick if you sent Gabe or someone an email about it.

I live in a place with a very unusual timezone (-3.5 hours GMT). I would say that it's about 50/50 whether a given website with a timezone setting actually lists mine. The initial iPod release did not. When I first signed up on Facebook it did not. So I'm used to contacting services with "Hi! We exist! Please don't forget about us!" style emails hahaha.

Yeah probably. It originally said it'd come out in 3.5h for me so maybe that's it. I mean, I can't be too pissed but blueballing is a no-go in my book. Gabe just shot himself in the foot.

I don't know how much the rest of you know about digital culture (I'm an expert), but honor and shame are huge parts of it. It's not like it is in retail where you can become successful by being an asshole. If you screw someone over on the internet, you bring shame to yourself, and the only way to get rid of that shame is repentance.

What this means is the the Steam community, after hearing about this, is not going to want to purchase Clash of Heroes off Steam, nor will they purchase any of Valve's games. This is HUGE. You can laugh all you want, but Valve has alienated an entire market with this move.

Gabe, publicly apologize and unlock Clash of Heroes already or you can kiss your business goodbye.

It is Clash of Heroes and it is AWESOME.

BTW, have any of you lucky people been able to compare the load times to the console version? My launch PS3 chokes on this game so I figured I'd go for the PC version.

The game's been out for a little bit in certain regions, and will be officially out in NA + C/SA in a couple hours.

If anyone has any questions, let me know.

PS. as long as you're on a computer hits over the min spec you shouldn't notice long load times like the PSN version. If you have a semi-decent comp, it should be fast. If it isn't, please let me know.

Is there any more DLC planned for Clash of Heroes? Could we expect balance changes too in the near future?

I've already played though the single player portion once, so it would be all about online play this time if I'm to double dip, and it would be reassuring to know if this game will have some longevity if the support is there.

That's exactly why I'm not getting it. We may get a pack with all DLC on sale by Christmas.

There wont be any more DLC unless the Steam version takes off huge.

Balance changes already happened on PSN, are coming to XBLA soon, and are built in from Day one to Steam. If we find there's need for further balancing, we'll definitely consider it for the Steam version.

our prices are nowhere near as insane (except for EA... bastards), so I would say that they don't :p

Last thing that I'm wondering, This uses Steamworks correct? So no other DRM is used other then that right? And are there achievements and cloud saving?

Full Steamworks (achievements, leaderboards, cloud saves) and the only DRM is the typical Steam DRM used in TF2 and the like. Nothing additional.

Just wanted to say that you guys are awesome :) Played the Demo and it ran really good on both my desktop and laptop.

Finally got a friend over here in TW on steam...what should I gift him? Trying to keep it under 10 bucks and yes he is asian.

I do see the indie but don't want to flood him with 5 games of almost same type lol

I do wish "Indie game" + "Strategy" didn't mean "Tower Defense" quite so often. Not that I *dislike* TD games, as such, but there's so much more we could have!

Official price drop, just announced in the CDP conference. GoG are having a further drop on the 29th itself, don't know if that'll propogate out to other DD providers.

Hmm, tempted to pick up Shining in the Darkness + Force + Force 2, maybe Landstalker.

Isn't there something weird with saves in these releases though, that you have to use savestates to save?

Nice, it's cheaper if I buy the whole Genesis Pack instead of the titles I want.

To celebrate this, the first three to quote me will receive one of the following: Gunstar Heroes, Shinobi III, Shining Force II. First comes first, name the game you want, only apply if you plan to play it, no juniors and all that jazz.
