Anybody want to convince me on the Mega Genesis Pack when I already have most of those games on cart? Besides Alien Solider, naturally. And why the hell is Wonder Boy is Monster World missing from that list? I guess it'll be added when they drop it on PSN as part of that Monster World pack.

Just noticed SEGA Genesis Classics Collection (NA)
has none of the sonics :(

That's because it is the "ultimate" genesis collection. If you want the ultimate genesis collection you get rid of the crappy over rated games. :)

Alpha Protocol and Space Channel 5 Part 2 individually. The other Sega games don't age as well but SC5 is groooovy! It will warm your heart.
Well, I just wanted Space Channel, but both the individual game and the pack cost 2,49€, and I wouldn't mind checking out Crazy Taxi... Argg.

Speaking of that pack, Fatal Labyrinth is a pretty neat early graphical rogue-like.

Ok I'm really pissed off now. I wanted to play Clash of Heroes but it's still not in my library. I wanted to play this tonight.

P.S. Shining Force II is still up for grabs before I explode.

But...you just got like 250 Hours of RPG Awesomeness. Add in Icewind Dale 1 and 2 for another $12 or whatever to put it at like 320. You shouldn't even have to buy any more games for months!

Wait, Planescape Torment? It's on sale?

EDIT: Ummm, only bundled, never mind.

Does anyone know what the co-op is like in AvP? How many players? Is it the full campaign?
Horde mode, essentially. Still fun for a couple hours though.

Alpha Protocol - worth the time investment to download it and play?

It's one of the best RPGs of last year. Combat is a bit clunky and unbalanced, but everything else is stellar. But seriously, it's $2. Just buy it.
It also has a great cast and good replayability and secrets. It's not for everyone, specially if you're picky about clunkyness. Otherwise, there's a good chance you'll love it. Even if you don't, for 2 bucks, it's worth the shot.

It's 2 bucks, people. If you're in doubt, just buy it.

Alpha Protocol is Mass Effect set in a James Bond world.

It's a little rough around the edges, but it's pretty well done. Much better than you probably expect. Voice acting and production values are pretty solid, though the combat is pretty easy to break making it a bit of a cake walk.

Thanks, think I'll pass for now. I have enough to play (really loving Red Faction Guerilla lately). I was just going to pick it up to play with some friends co-op if it was full co-op. Plenty of other single player games to keep me busy.

Do you like strategy games overall? Then yes, but you might be sated until next sale with just the first if you're in a financial bind right now.

This sale made me realize Alpha Protocol is the only PC game Sega has made that I care about. And I already own it.
This. Also, everytime I see your avatar I think it's 'New Adventures of He-Man' He-Man :(

If you think you can look past it's mediocre to passable gameplay, Alpha Protocol has some great characters and dialogue that should not be passed up, especially for $2.

2 fucking dollars for Alpha Protocol... I should have waited!

I know! I bought it for $7.5 in a past sale and still haven't played it past the first segment.

But because it is a great deal I just bought it again for $2. -.-' Lolz

I only have the first COH and im sticking with it. Backlog be damned.
If you plan on playing the COH games, i recommend also buying Opposing Fronts. You get a new campaign and unlock two armies for multiplayer.

On an unrelated note, can someone gift me Alpha Protocol? I can only paypal monday since tomorrow morning i'm going on a trip.

Well that brings Clash of Heroes down to $9 but yes, I am even THAT broke that I can't do it. Oh well, my curiosity about it can be satiated elsewhere. We're all chipping away at backlogs of doom.

grabbed Sega Bass Fishing (love that game ...the voice is a riot), and Space Channel 5. don't really care about the other 2 games.

also bought Company of Heroes - Tales of Valor ...already owned the other 2 COH games.

wouldn't mind getting that Virtua Tennis 4 ...but i've bought too many games recently and really need to ease off a bit for now.

already own Alpha Protocol and Aliens vs Predator from other sales.

I agree with this, Tales of Valor is basically MP only due to standalone and very campaign light compared to the others. Has some fun multiplayer modes though, but still.
