I was just about to buy Alpha Protocol and wilflare gifted it to me. Anyway I picked up Clash of Heroes & the Sega Classics pack. As much as I would like to see my numbers rise I'm going to pass on all the Total War pack since I bought that Paradox pack last week which was mostly strategy stuff.

I'm still considering Crazy Taxi and Sonic. From what I hear they're not impressive ports, but if I can run them windowed and use a pad it can't be that bad.

I remember hearing Crazy Taxi doesnt have the original soundtrack though, wich is NUTS but oh well

Quick question about CoH, do the games install as separate icons or do they appear as 'DLC' or can you just install the latest one and have all the content?

The Sega collector pack is really tempting, so many games I have wanted to try such as Football Manager 2011, Virtua Tennis, AvP. My favorite Total War game was Rome, and Shogun 2 looks just as good. Now I just have to spend the next hour working out if I should just buy them individually.

Install as one, appear as seperate, launch as one. pretty weird.

Install the latest, or just any of them, as everything gets downloaded anyway.

I don't own comix zone but the genesis games I own work fine to me I've heard some games have it but I can tell you that

from what I have played all run fine Id like to add the rest to my collection shame though when you go to purchase it says you own these games you won't be given extra copies so it makes the bundle kind of useless for me

Sweet Alpha Protocol for only 2 euro/dollars/whatever. Anyone want to do a trade with Company of Heroes? Company of Heroes Opposing Fronts and Tales of Valour are cheaper in Euro zone. I can gift you one of the CoH expansions if you gift me AP.

so has any genius made a site that looks at prices by every region on steam, then finds which region to buy it, for it's the cheapest for you?

mirror's edge for $2.50 and now dreamcast collection for like $3, i like to know about this stuff instead of counting on GAFers to fill me in (who are awesome btw).


lol, i remember comix zone coming preloaded on one of my old PCs. i dunno why.

Quick question... I downloaded Limbo's demo and for some reason it ran like crap... Mostly around 25fps and sometimes dipping to 16...

Now, I'm pretty certain my laptop can run it just fine, it ran Portal 2 pretty well for crying out loud.. So I suspected the issue to be either the game itself or the drivers.. Google'd, only thing I seen is some announcement that it should run at 60fps

So now I'm thinking it's either the demo or most likely the drivers.. Unfortunately, Nvidia's retarded drivers don't recognize my GPU for some stupid reason, and the Asus website don't have the latest driver up...

Pretty much. It's still fun and looks/runs nice. You can force some SSAA and still run it at 60fps if your rig is up to speed. I'm kind of surprised it's $10 and not $5-7.
