I wonder how far sales have declined, what with some people holding off under the expectation of a huge sale, over the last couple of weeks.

Something is seriously wrong when you're more gigs than dollars! :) Wouldn't have expected this from a Xbox Live Arcade game

Further evidence to me is that there is only one midweek madness sale this week (so far anyway) in addition to when the sale ends.

Let a guy dream!

Valve's gonna troll us all along for months and announce an Australian Summer sale in December.

Don't give them any crazy ideas! But a December sale is a December sale, I'd still buy stuff.

So how's Hydrophobia?

Dunno, we're all still downloading it because they somehow inflated their game to over 5 gigs.

Check back over the last few pages for reviews and opinions that people have posted.

It's a good thing I bought Just Cause 2 a few days ago when it was on sale. That game makes the wait for the Steam summer sale so much easier.

and not a bad first game to buy with my new gaming PC.

From the hydrophobia page, among the quotes:
Game Chronicles - 9/10 and Editors Choice award
"By far the most visually stunning and engaging game I’ve played on my PC since Crysis 2..."
Are they hyperbolically crooked or is the rest of the world plain wrong?
It's 2.50€ and I'm still on the fence.
Will wait for lab rat GAF to tell me what they think of it.
Or con me into buying it, out of sheer spite

Maybe he hasn't played many PC games since Crysis 2, it's not been that long.

I have an extra copy of Super Meat Boy on Steam so if anyone planning on purchasing it would like to buy it from me instead and help me out I would be very appreciative!

Hydrophobia... A 3 dollar game is very tempting, but is it a good game?

This is what I'm wondering. I know that when it first released on 360, it was received poorly but since then the dev's sort of revised the game, I haven't heard if it was enough to make it worth playing.

I haven't played it but will probably buy it for $3. A unique, decent-looking game for $3 seems interesting to me. The impressions from this thread make it sound like lots of people had bad reviews, the developers took the reviews, tried to address them, and we would be buying the fixed version. I don't know that the fixed version is GOOD, but hey I'm willing to spend $3 to find out.

And like I've been telling you guys, I go out of town on Thursday so that's when the sale starts. It'll happen almost as soon as I get to the airport.

Is it 5 GB on Xbox Live though? I thought they had a maximum file size of around 1 gig or so?

Let me show you through these halls, my friend, where treasures of indie gaming await...

I'd be more interested in the optimization of the engine. No idea whether I'd be able to run it and Steam doesnt have a demo if I am not totally blind. Otherwise I might have checked it out for 3 bucks.

yea, decent, you can't go wrong with 3 bucks

okayish gameplay, great water physics, realistic boob jiggle physics (kinda like the TR: Angel of Darkness one) not exaggerated like many japanese games do, because everyone knows, good breast physics are the ones you barely notice jiggling

god ... what's wrong with me

According to the reviews of the "fixed" version, they didn't do a very good job improving it lol.

VVVVV is 1.74 on Greenmangaming.com...i never purchased from this store. Its safe? I can register it on steam?

Regarding this site, does anyone know if you can buy the Mac version there? I'm very tempted to get it as it doesn't have Steam achievements, if they have it I'll bite without a doubt.

EDIT: I also bought Hydrophobia, I tend to love games that get mixed reviews and I liked the idea when it was unveiled, so...

Fuck it, I bought Hydrophobia. Steam has me trained like a dog :(

uhh tell me about it. My mind operates with steam now where if any game hovers below the 7 dollar mark its a insta-buy, irregardless of quality or playtime.

Looks like Capcom may of just added 9 things of DLC for SSFIV:AE. They have no names to them, but they are right below SSFIVAE.

Also, some game called Endless Fluff is being added. And the game Dwarfs is getting some DLC too.

You know what? Hydrophobia studio/creator updated the game THREE TIMES, trying to make it worth the players time. He even added a "tell us about the games bugs" interface in the newest "re-release".

That's worth something. 3 dollars your way, developer I know nothing about.

There are two complete outfits pack. I know they were also separated into individual packs, like SF III characters, Shoto Characters, Alpha characters. That's what they are, most likely.
